Book: Beastly

has anyone here read Beastly by Alex Flinn? It's going to be turned into a movie, but I think the book version is the best! Any comments on the book?

OMG!

i love this book.. i read it mainly because i saw the movie trailer and im an Alex Pettyfer fan. what i loved about the book is the fact that he managed to change his personality. and pinakita talaga sa book yung point of view nya nung pumanget sya. mejo down side nga lang na sa book eh hairy sya.. but i just imagined yung ichura ni alex pettyfer nung naging beast na.   

hmm.. basta.. I LOVE THIS BOOK and i was so disappointed dahil na move yung showing nung movie. dapat july 2010 eh.. naging march 18. anywayyy...

I SUPER RECOMMEND THIS book.

gosh, totally disappointing, pero yung itsura ni Alex Pettyfer as beast, hindi na hairy, mostly parang ginawa siyang frankenstein-ish, haha.

ako naman i read this just before i saw its trailer. super iba talaga pag binasa mo muna and then saka mo papanoorin, parang, different expectations mo. haha. anyways, ang ganda talaga ng beastly.

i love the book. natatawa ako dun sa part na nagchachat yung mga guys na nalagyan ng spell, it's so cute na cinocomfort nila yung isa't-isa.

ang h.a.w.t nya right? ughhh i am sooo looking forward sa march 18! i think hindi nila ginawang hairy yung sa movie para hindi naman sya totally unacceptable tignan

i agree frankenstein-ish nga ichura nya.. sabi ko nga bat parang gwapo parin nung naging beast xa? haha. oh well.. kahet pa ayoko kay Vanessa Hudgens.. alex will make it better

and i soooo love it.. super sweet.. im sooo excited to watch it on the big screen but i bet the book will always be better parang ang dami kaxeng ang daming binago.. oh anyways i wud still watch it.. haha

I sooo love this book. My friend recommended it.  at first, i didn't have any interest.  but when i scanned the pages, dang! i can't stop myself from reading!
the movie is exciting but in my own point of view, the book is better. sorry to those who love the movie. hope you won't get mad.

Yeah! So right! hindi ginawang hairy si Dude... ang creepy ng itsura... anyways cute naman siya pag hindi beast... and buti na lang binasa ko rin muna bago panoorin yung trailer... at least I didn't imagine Vanessa Hudgens as the girl (LOL hindi ko siya gaanong trip)...

Ang cute ng pagkakasulat, it kept me reading for hours... my comment, though, is that hindi ko masyadong na-feel yung girl... parang sinabi lang yung mga likes niya and didn't tell much about her personality... pero yun lang naman.  But overall, I liked the book.

I seriously recommend this book. I loved Beastly. It was both conventional and unconventional. I woke up at 4 am just so I could finish reading it before I went to school.

And of course, I love anything with Alex Pettyfer. :3

There's a movie tie-in edition already, but if anyone's looking for the original version they still have copies in A Different Bookstore in The Fort. You'll just have to look kasi last time I saw it it was in the back bookshelves pa, behind Starbucks.
