Ito na ang araw na kinatatakutan ko. Wala na bang ibang paraan?

I stared at the piece of paper in front of me. I reluctantly hold the pen with my hand. I took a deep breath and calm myself before I decided to run off and never go back here again. My hands are shaking as I neared the pen on the paper.

“By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife.”



Anak ng tokwa naman o!



I am eighteen. I wanted to be married at the age of twenty-seven.

On my big day, I want to wear a simple but beautiful white flowing dress, not a power puff girls top and a rugged short.

I want to be wed in a small church full of white roses with my family and friends smiling happily for me as I walk down the aisle and my groom waiting for me at the alter, not in my dad’s office full of his owl statue collections that never fails to creep me out. I also did not wish my wedding march song to be my mom’s wailing!

My groom isn’t even here beside me.

And lastly, I want to be married with the person that I am most in love with and loves me back as much as I love him, who understands me and still accepted me even though I have lots of flaws, someone who completes me and who I am willing to spend my forever with.

I don’t want to marry a stranger!

I guess it’s too late for that now.

wala pa nga akong natatapos eh. haha. nag iisip pa ko ng chapter na isususlat.. tingnan ko bukas or the day after that.  ;)
