I suggest you tell her how you feel. That you don't feel good being compared with your cousins and that it can actually affect your confidence. I don't have a problem with my mom in terms of comparing me to other people but sa ibang aspect lang. I was very afraid of telling her yung sama ng loob ko. I had this talk with my aunt na I should at least release it 'cause it's not good for me. Problems kasi natin mga pinoy is we lack communication with our parents. Then one day nag iyakan kami grabeng dramahan nangyari and I can say our relationship was better.

So, I say sis, communicate with your mom. Sabihin mo sa kanya yung nasa loob mo even though your afraid kasi kung di mo gagawin walang mangyayari.

I used to experience this before. My mom, my whole family actually, complete lost their trust on me. I secretly had a boyf before and soon enough they discovered it and the 'things' that my boyf and I do... It was really hard because they will always suspect your every move... and there was a time when I had to go to MOA for a project video shoot... and she didn't allow me at all. I cry every night and I decided to break up with the guy. As of now I can say that I've already gained back her trust, but I know that I will never be able to bring back the trust she once gave me. Ruined trust is like a crumpled paper... even if you stretch it out again, there would still be gusot parts.
