If you're into meaningful romance novels, try Nicholas Sparks' books. His thoughts about love never cease to touch my heart.

If you want something with a supernatural twist in romance... Try:

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick- it's about a fallen angel who eventually fell in love with a mortal. Patch, the fallen angel, is FLAMING HOT. A New York times bestseller. This book brought back my book whore-ness.  :D

Fallen by Lauren Kate - also about fallen angels.  :)

The Immortal Series (Evermore, Blue Moon, Shadowland) by Alyson Noel - It's about an immortal guy who fell in love with a mortal girl... and this mortal girl is almost the exact reincarnation of his loved one in the past. These are one of my favorite books. :) Evermore is a NY times bestseller as well. Here's the book trailer for Evermore: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrZ7IsA79ck

Kissed by An Angel by Elizabeth Chandler - a NY times bestseller. Was first published in 1995 but because of it's wonderful and brilliant story... it was republished in 2008. It's a trilogy and you can buy it in Powerbooks for only 379 pesos. The trilogy is combined into one book with a very elegant book cover and it's very affordable so it's definitely a good buy. This is the most recent book I have read and it made me cry. ;D :) My favorite book so far. Here's the BACK COVER BLURB:

A love beyond life...a danger beyond doubt.

When her boyfriend, Tristan, died, Ivy thought she'd lost everything, even her faith in angels. But now she's discovered that he's her guardian angel--his presence so strong that she can feel the touch of his hand, the beat of his heart. Ivy needs Tristan now more than ever because he knows she's in terrible danger. Only Ivy's guardian angel can save her, now that his killer is after her.

But if Tristan rescues Ivy, his mission on earth will be finished, and he must leave her behind forever. Will saving Ivy mean losing her just when he's finally reached her again?

Wings by Aprilynne Pike - It's about a girl named Laurel who discovered that she wasn't any ordinary person... that she's someone special, and that is because she is a faerie after all. In this extraordinary tale of magic and intrigue, romance and danger, everything you thought you knew about faeries will be changed forever. Also a NY times bestseller. Only 325 pesos when bought in National Book Store. Here's the fantastic book trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYRR7IPys6s

It will also be made into a movie starring..... Miley Cyrus. Eeep!  :o

The sequel to this book, Spells, is already out in the market. It was released I think two weeks ago. :) I haven't read Spells because I'm still saving for it. @-)

Other books that I can suggest are A Walk to Remember and The Last Song both by Nicholas Sparks. :) It will never fail to make you bawl your eyes out especially A Walk to Remember. You can watch the movie but I suggest that you read the book first since it's different from the movie itself as for A Walk to Remember. I haven't watched The Last Song but I heard that the movie's good too.  ???

Alrightie! I hope my suggestions helped you in choosing what book to read. If you want you can PM me and I'll send you the e-book to whichever book you like among the list. ;D Ciao.  ;)

Wow, that was very helpful, indeed! :) Thank you for the suggestions.
I've finished reading 2 of the books in The Immortals Series. Shadowland is still expensive! God!

I saw Wings in National Bookstore and I've read the back part of it, I think it's cool  :) I'll grab a copy of that in NBS, I swear!  ;D I will not watch that movie. I don't like Miley.  >:(

Thanks again!  ;)

Yeah. Shadowland is pricey unlike Evermore and Blue Moon. It's in hardbound form... so what do you expect.  :-X But for me I like books in paperback form because it's a lot cheaper and more convenient to carry! ;D If you want I can send you the e-book of Shadowland... Haha. :) It's better than blue moon I swear because in Shadowland... Ever will meet a guy named Jude, and she'll get drawn to him... @-) And and, Jude is somehow 'part' of Ever's past lives.... so yeah you gotta read this one. :>

Wings is only 325 pesos but for me, Kissed by An Angel is a greater buy than Wings. ;) ;D Because Kissed by An Angel is a compilation of the 3 books already for 379 pesos. Hehe.

I'll wait for the paperback edition of Shadowland. I agree with you it's easier to carry around! ;D I can't wait! I actually have the e-book of that but my eyes hurt (arte-arte ko.:P) whenever I read it. ;D

Really? 3 books for only 379 pesos? Unbelievable! Thanks again for replying! ;)
