hindi naman masyadow.. kaw naman! pero dahil pinuri mo ko 50% discount na. haha 

HAHAHA! Ganun ba kahirap maghanap ng HOT piano teacher? Talagang HOT ung hinahanap e.   

kung hot ang hanap mo, marami jan. siguraduhin mo nga lang na lalaki.. hehe. pero mukhang imposible talagang mapagsama ang hot and teacher. tsk. tsk. wawa nman tayo.

Subject: Summer Heat

April 23, 2010

It’s hot. Did I say that already? It’s hot.

What is wrong with this place? Ugh. I don’t even know why I walked around town this morning looking for-who-knows-what without an umbrella. I didn’t even put sun block.

Oh yeah. I remember now. Someone kicked me out of the house for her daily supply of Prozac. Did I say Prozac? Sorry, my bad. I meant PROZAC.

The person is I’m talking about is not depressed. Okay, maybe she is. It’s because the memories of me throwing tantrums because of the piano came rushing back to her.

Well I’m sorry for disappointing her! *insert sarcasm here* She just can’t accept the fact that I am better at academics than music. I already have my youngest sister who is very willing to learn piano. I don’t know why she is still stressing about it after all these years. 

I’m not talking about my mom. This person just likes to act like my mom. Freaky.

It took me almost an hour to get to the drugstore because I keep on stopping by in every store that I see to buy cold beverages (e.g. palamig, gulaman, mineral water, ice cream, ice drop, ice candy) to quench my thirst. I was about to go home when I saw him standing a few feet away from me. I waited for him to finish his business with a guy and then I said hi to him.

Ah, Prozac. Mabentang-mabenta talaga yan dito. Lalo na sa mayayaman. Talagang tanggal ang kalungkutan!

He said it in a way that made me smile. Now we have one thing in common: SARCASM.

I am so happy!

We started walking away from the drug store. He said his brother is working at the very drug store where I bought this drug.

Talk about fate. We are so meant to be together.

We chatted away while walking aimlessly which made me happy and giddy and excited and thrilled and… you know what I mean. I know I was giggling like a school girl with everything that he says but I can’t help it. Giggling is better than dorking out right?

Then I felt his hand brush my forehead.

Pawis na pawis ka na. Tara muna dun sa practice hall. Palamig ka muna.

I was a little hesitant at first because I feel like going home already and I don’t know where the hell is that but I went with him anyway. I must be insane if I decline his offer.

Practice hall a.k.a Shabby room. But it was different from before. The room is brighter, the drapes are changed into something more summer-y and the old electric fan is replaced by a new one.

I joked about the new fan. He smiled and said that he bought this two days ago. And that’s the exact number of days when we last saw each other. Yes, I counted.

He placed the fan in front of me and served a pitcher of buko juice with lots and lots of ice in it.

Inumin mo to. Pang tanggal ng uhaw. Favorite mo to di ba?

Aww. He remembered. I was hoping he would remember but I wasn’t expecting he would. I mean he is guy. They don’t remember stuff like that.

He is like a big brother when he said those words while pouring me some drink but that’s alright. I think it’s sweet.

I bit my lower lip to try to keep myself from smiling like an idiot but it didn’t really work. So yeah, I was smiling like an idiot.

So instead, I didn’t speak. I’m afraid I might blurt out things like, “Ang sweet mo talaga. Pakiss nga!” or “May girlfriend ka na ba? Tayo na lang.” with matching batting of eyelashes.

I immediately went back to my senses when I saw him wiping his sweat with a blue towel… all over his body. Is it me or its getting hotter in here?

He caught me looking; I just smiled to cover my embarrassment and sip my drink nonchalantly. I saw him walk up to me through my peripheral vision. He sat beside me and wiped my sweat using the same towel.

My first thought was, Eww. That’s disgusting!

He just transferred his germs on me. That is so not cool.

But… he’s been doing almost everything to help me feel and stay cool so I guess I’ll forgive him. I declare that he is sweet, not eww.

If he will always be this sweet, then let it be summer forever!

Subject: The Pianist

April 28, 2010

My comment box is full of comments about piano boy.

I know that I have been blogging about him since the start of summer but he still remains anonymous. And I didn’t know that you will be all this interested in him.

I am sure you people are wondering who this person is. I am sorry to disappoint you guys but I will never mention his name… ever.

That is because some of you, readers of my blog, might know him personally. I don’t want to take the risk. I want to keep this as private as possible.

It would be embarrassing if he learns that I blog about absolutely nothing but him. I know. Talking about him in the cyber world is not so private.

You might be thinking, “Oh sure. Talk about your feelings for him and put it in your blog. Oh yeah. That is private alright!”

Alright, I get that. If you think you know who I am talking about, please don’t tell a single soul. But, if you are really curious about his name, I’ll give you a clue.

His name reminds me of a matinee idol.

No, it’s not Zac Efron or Robert Pattinson. Hah! You wish. You can cross them out on your list now.

As the days pass I am slowly drawn into him, which I think is natural because I grew up in a musically inclined family. One thing that attracts me the most is that he is full of passion, passion for music.

The way he talks about his favorite composers: Chopin, Beethoven and Mozart, the way he meticulously inspect the upright for any damage before lessons, the way he smiles when he is teaching, the way he carefully explains to me what he knows about music to the level that I would comprehend, and the way he diligently practice so he can achieve his goals. It’s just so appealing to me.

Like this afternoon, he was practicing for this coming school year. Summer vacation doesn’t mean rusty skills he said.

I watched his fingers dance gracefully on the black and white keys. His eyes half closed with his body slightly swaying to the music. A serene smile present on his lips.

I applauded after he finished the piece.

Nakaka-gwapo pala ang piano no?

He was quite taken aback for a second. Then he looked down and covered his face with his hand, trying to hide the blush.

Aww. He is so cute. I gave myself a pat on the back. I sat beside him on the piano stool and press some keys on the keyboard. I am clumsily trying to play my favorite song from my favorite movie. To my surprise, he stopped me by holding my hand. (OMG!)

I felt a spark of frisson as he guides my fingers on the right keys. His face adorned with a small smile. Lub-dub. Lub-dub. Be still my heart. 

A familiar tune reached my ears.

Sing with me guys, ♪~Moments of love close beside you in the warmth of the light all through the night~ ♫

That simple touch is enough to send shivers down my spine, and that beautiful smile is enough to make me weak in the knees. I don’t like this feeling but at the same time I do. It’s a new feeling yet so familiar. I just found myself asking for more. I want more of him!

Can you be mine? With whip cream and cherries on top?

Would this pianist oblige to my request?
