iPads are just like giant iPod touches. perfect for those having a hard time typing/browsing using the iPod touch.

the iPad is still in the fist generation. it might be much better to wait until they release a 2nd or 3rd generation iPad because of all the initial glitches they may have. i know this by experience (had the iPod touch 1g, no apps )

expensive. the cheapest iPad here is around 35K, rather get a macbook/dSLR rather than that. iPad in the states is US$499 plus tax. goodness

i'd rather wait for it to get more benefits

Gosh! I really want an iPad. But it's too expensive. And I think normal citizens like me, don't need those things. The most important thing is, I really can't afford it!

Yeah, it looks nice but you gotta have to think twice..

Here are the pros:

    * 10 hour battery life
    * Built in Speaker and microphone
    * Awesome App Store
    * Interface is very much alike to iPhone/iPod Touch
    * User-friendly to read newspaper, e Books, magazines
    * Uses home Wi-Fi
    * Supports third party apps without modification

And the cons:

    * Camera and flash is not supported in iPad
    * GPS is not supported completely .
    * Can’t load flash enabled videos. Browsing the internet without flash is really dumb !@#$.
    * No USB support.
    * No Multitasking. This is one of the major problems with iphones and ipod as well.
    * No Drag and Drop file management
    * No SD card reader built-in.

honestly, para sa akin, walang kwenta tong iPad na to. xD
so what if its touch screen? very light, Apps..etc. tsaka kung bibili ka rin lang naman ng ganito ka mahal na gamit, mas maganda yung nagagamit mo talaga, hindi yung kasi "IN" sya ngayon.
