Hi! I'm Gel. A new Teentalker. A new CC writer. I used to read stories here at CC way back in high school but I'm not really into posting so I'm a certified silent reader. haha. But now, I feel like sharing my own work of art. Hope you'll like the story. Sorry for grammar errors and this is just a product of my imagination. I would be using English, as well as Tagalog or Taglish or  any suitable language in the story, whenever I feel like using them. Hehe. It would definitely depend on my mood while writing. TRIVIAS:

1. When I was looking for an idea for my title,I came across a post in a forum that says that the filipino word, "basta" came from the spanish word "bastante" which means "enough" in english.

2. A minute after I wrote the second name of Jericho, I noticed that his name was kinda JEJEMONIC. haha. Jejemon= from Jeje. You knoooooow. Okay, hindi ko maexplain. haha. But I like the name Jeno so hindi ko papalitan. hehe.

3. Jericho's character is inspired by PBB Teen Eslove. haha. Siya naiimagine kong si Jericho.

4. I'm not good with titles and intros. PROMISE. xD

CHAPTER ONE - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

Yes, it's a party. My biggest birthday ever. Syempre, debut yun. Well, I really do not like to have one but my parents insisted. Ano bang magagawa ko DIBA? Haay, ano ba kasing maganda sa mga ganitong party? Maingay, magulo, maasikaso, MAGULO. I don't like it, 'kay? I am not and will never be a social person. Hindi naman ako loner type, I still have friends. Actually, I am little miss popular but I don't care. I prefer quiet places and be peaceful as much as possible. Magulo kasi talaga buhay ko. My parents are business people and they always drag me to different events para daw makilala ko ang mga business partners. ANO BA? GANUN BA LAGI? Siguro nga. Ganito ang business world, BADTRIP. Pinagbibigyan ko na lang sila, kasi mahal ko naman sila. Tsakaaaaaa, may kapalit naman tuwing pipilitin nila ako sa party, siguro kaya naging papilit din ako 'no? haha.

MOMMY: The Arsenas has just arrived, salubungin mo sila.

Mr. Arsena is one of my parents' business partners and he's the best friend of my dad. His family is really close to us, especially his cutest and hottest son, Gabriel. haha.

Mr&Mrs. A: Happy birthday hija! Ganda ngayon ah.

LIA: ahe, thank you po. pasok na po. A table is reserved for you.

LIA: anong hindi? galit kaya ako.

then he kissed me on my left cheek.

LIA: che!

GAB: see, you are not.

LIA: wag kasi ganun. eeh.

GAB: hehe. Sige, sorry na ulit. I'll give my gift later ha, pag tayo na lang dalawa.

LIA: okay.

GAB: Happy birthday Sweetheart.

I smiled. Well, it was my sweetest smile that night. Kahit badtrip na badtrip na ko sa party ko masaya na kong nandyan siya. Yii. kaya nga naiinis ako na ngayon lang siya dumating eh. Well, in fairness naman sa party ko, hindi siya yung may 18 18 ek-ek. ayaw ko kasi nun, at napapayag ko naman sila na wala na nun.

LIA: Uh, where's Kuya Mike and Rapi?

GAB: andun pa ata sa labas. Tinitignan yung bagong bahay dun. Alam mo naman si kuya.

LIA: ay, oo nga.

GAB: nacheck mo na yun?

LIA: syempre naman.

GAB: tutuloy ka ba?

LIA: Gusto ko talaga.

GAB: alam na ba nila tita?

umiling ako. He then gave me a pity smile. Alam ko masaya siya na hindi nagpoprogress yung gusto kong pagshishift pero hindi niya lang masabi sakin kasi alam niyang gustong gusto kong magshift sa arki. He hugged me. kay cute na bata, mana sa mga kuya, at magulang syempre. hehe.

MIKE: Punta ka na kela mommy, Rap. Sama ka kay kuya Gab.

GAB: tara Rap.

LIA: buti pumunta ka, kailangan kitang makausap talaga ngayon e.

MIKE: di ah. Sinabi lang ni Gab na buo na yung bahay dian sa may tapat kaya naisip ko na ring tignan.

LIA: so hindi ako ang pinunta mo dito?

He nodded. I glared at him.

MIKE: joke lang. hehe. So ano na bang status?

LIA: wala.

MIKE: wala? You haven't told tito and tita?

umiling ako.

MIKE: tara.

LIA: huy, kuya! di ako ready.

walang pakialam, hinila pa rin ako papunta kela mommy. Patay naaaa. Nako. Nako naman. Masisira na ata ng tuluyan ang araw ko. ay si kuya talaga. Anyway, Si kuya michael kasi ay Arki senior na sa school namin. Kaya kasundo ko to e, pareho kami ng hilig at pareho din naming hindi hilig ang business, kaya nga si Gab ang nagpapakabusy dun sa kanila e. Kaso samin naman, solo lang ako. At umaasa silang ako ang magtutuloy nung business nila, kaya hindi ko pa nasasabi kela mommy na ayaw ko ng course ko at gusto ko talagang magshift.

MIKE: tito, tita, I have something important to tell you regarding Lia's life interests.

at life interests pa talaga?

DADDY: o, ano yun Michael? Let's have a sit.

Naupo kami dun sa sala namin.

DADDY: Game Michael.

magsasalita na sana si kuya pero tinapik ko siya at ako ang nagsalita.

LIA: I'll shift to Architecture next school year.

I just said the line that would make my biggest birthday ever into the WORST birthday of my entire life.
