Getting married to my very own Chace Crawford I am totally head over heels in love is one of my dreams. But trust my over melodramatic, high-maintenance biological mother to change my outlook about getting married.

She chose to break the freaking bad news after I got home, purring contentedly from a grand cruise around the world. Thank you very much, Mom.

This is totally my idea of a wretched life. And there's no point screaming "WHAT THE HELL,MOM?! I AM STILL IN HIGHSCHOOL!" over a thousand times. I knew it would change nothing. My mother's decision is final. And that means I AM DOOMED. Doomed to marry a freaking fcukface!

CHAPTER ONE PART ONE



I let out a wide smile the moment I walked inside the vast grounds of Hillsdale North Upper School. I came to a halt as I looked around and awkwardly tug my above the knee skirt down. I stomped my foot, scowled and smelled some fresh air. Surely, it was a lot biger than the South. It looked incredibly perfect. This place is the right place where Serena Rein Curtis should belong.

AAAHH, the life at North. This exactly is life. Laid-back. Relaxing. Oooh.

My feet continued walking. I need to concentrate on finding my assigned room. I really made the right choice of leaving Hillsdale South. The place is- there's no other word that'll best suit it- Shabby. I frowned as I remembered my friends. Well, I've been persuading them to move here for ages. But they can't find their heart leaving that old boring place.

New life. New me. And I meant, a better me. After a thousand assurances, my ever emotional self-proclaimed Goddess mother allowed me to live on my own. Not necessarily on my own. The place is totally designed for two, and you know what that means? Yeah. A room mate! Hope he/she won't annoy the hell out of me. I smiled to myself. No more tailing mother constantly exclaiming "My little Serena's getting married!" whenever she got the chance. No more seeing Stephen's disgusting mutt-looking face. Seems pretty good! Only one thing isn't. But I'm sure I'll be able to handle it. I'm one wicked brat!

I clutched one of my mom's Jimmy Choo slingback I stole from her closet. A bunch of girls eyed me sulkily. Who wouldn't? With these Chanel sunglasses, everybody would surely die in envy.

"Hey." Some good-looking guy about an inch or two taller than I gripped my arm. Ooh, looking perfect, smelling good. I smiled as I tried to guess the scent he wore. His messy hair matched his incredibly pointed nose. He smirked.

"Yes?" I asked taking off my Chanel sunglasses. I threw my blonde locks over my shoulder.

"You stepped on my shoes." he said icily. I could smell a hint of cigarette smoke from him.

"Smokers are good kissers!" Stephen's gay-ish voice lingered on my mind for quite a while. I remembered him telling that ridiculous lie when my mom discovered a pack of Gitanes cigarettes he'd snuck from the bread pantry.

I felt the guy tugged my arm harshly as if to say "Hey! Go back to the mean world you idiotic blond!"

"Oh. I'm Sorry. I'll just pay for those. How much did they cost you?" I taunt him. I knew I hit a nerve. He loosen his grip.

I shrugged. Money rules the world, people. And that is one perfect example! Sweet. I don by sunglasses back.

"You'll pay for this one, little kid." he muttered under his breath as he walked away clutching his coat. Urgh. Very gay-ish.

Sheesh.
Scare me to death, loverboy. Pfft. I smirked.

"Oh dear, you are in trouble.." a voice whispered. I turned around and saw my cousin Francheska Victoria Henares looking very gloomy. Quite opposite to the weather. Well, what does she expect from a Serena Rein Curtis? Innocence? Hah! You've got to be joking.
