New junior and senior moderators

I think it would be nice to choose the ones who volunteered for the job.
(the ones who nominated themselves) + with prior experience being a moderator + good track record = promote them

^ Tama! Kasi pano kung di naman willing o di naman pwede yung ninonominate ng ibang tao diba? So I think that would be nice. At least kapag ninominate ng isang tao ang sarili niya that means she's very willing and she's very available. And most of all sino pa ba ang pinakamakakakilala satin at pinakamakakaalam ng abilities/capabilities/kapasidad natin kundi mga sarili rin natin.

^ I agree with you. But remember, we want a "leader" who is credible and who can interact well with the TeenTalkers. If most of the people have ill-feelings toward a certain member, how can he/she ask them to follow him/her?

The role of the moderators is not only to clean the boards. Some members would even ask help for their personal problems. A moderator shouldn't be biased and insensitive. A moderator should also be a role model to other members. This IS TeenTalk, and not any other online forums.

yea.  there was a little "event" some years (years na ba?) ago, so they implemented the no-guy-mod policy.

i dunno if it's still in effect though.
