(actually, all christians should be that, regardless kung seminarian or hindi)

In all of our religious discussions here in food for the soul, there's one thing that i always keep in mind, and one very, very important thing:
People don't just believe what is being said, they also believe in the one who's saying.
Kaya unlike in the Primp and Pamper or uhh, Body and Health, maski ayaw mo yung nag po-post about make-up,minsan kelangan mo syang paniwalaan dahil totoo sinasabi nya.
things dont go that way here in Food for the Soul for the simple reason that religion isnt make up. it concerns the whole person so much so that when I say one thing, no amount of logic or force of reason can make that person believe what I say
unless he or she is willing to believe in me first now that makes debates or conversations over the internet almost close to impossible since both of us are behind a cyber wall which is, i might as well say "impenetrable" unless I see you in flesh and blood. Afterall, most people who post questions are not Catholics and have their own religious lifestyle outside teentalk that even 1 million posts and rebuttals can amount to nothing before the words of their own local pastor or minister.
hey, don't get me wrong. even if an atheist were to rebutt me a million times over, those would be simply negated by a single word of a Catholic priest for the simple reason that I believe more on the priest than on some atheist i never knew, i never saw, i never heard.
so there. im never a person of authority, it's just..i dunno, it's never my intention to shove my own personal beliefs into another's throat, only to show that my beliefs in my belief are worth their own weight as judged against the strictest scrutinies of Truth.
Christianity is not a retreat into one's own personal faith. sa tingin ko, it's wrong to retreat into the impregnable walls of faith when this very faith is challenged.
I guess that's the aim i have in mind whenever i hit that post button. When our Faith is challenged, then the only recourse is to sally forth!
