Children of Disobedience
« on: December 22, 2009, 06:00:51 am »
A 14 year old girl runs away from the Netherlands (her home) to the Caribbean after a Court Order shattered her dream of sailing around the world by herself.

Another 16 year old wants to sail around the world too, in trying to beat another young person who holds the record.

Some people are just way off their right mind in thinking they can fulfill impossible things in life.

This child is in for a life of ruin, which is the fruit of her disobedience.

----

Oh and what fumed me more were some comments by bloggers who are supporting her in this stupid endeavor.

Some were like "follow your dream, dont let anybody hinder you from fulfilling your passion!"

Quote
Laura is passionate for her dream. She might not think the way people think of her age....I am sure she feels quite mature to do so..thats why she is that desperate.....so let her live her dream. Certainly, the new era has come for the young ones and she is on her way to prove this.....let's wish her the best of luck. Its rather far better to be young voyager than to hear this world's crap! Moreover she has proved how mature she is in what she is thinking to do.

well i say congratulations for being a halfwit. you sir, will be first person i'd have to blame for assisted homicide if ever this 14 year old spoiled brat drowns in the middle of the ocean or taken into sex slavery by pirates.

I think about the years I spent just passing through

I'd like to have the time I lost and give it back to you

But you just smile and take my hand

You've been there you understand

It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true

Hindi malayo na mapatay tong batang to. I just saw this on the news about an hour ago and looking at her, she doesn't look like she's ready for this kind of "adventure". She even looks terrified as she showed the route she's going to take for that around-the-world trip.

I am even a little disappointed at this girl's parents. Because they're all supporting her saying na she should follow her dream and things like that. I MEAN REALLY. There are pirates in the open sea. REALLY, YOU'RE GOING TO LET YOUR 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER DO SOMETHING THAT HUGELY DANGEROUS, REALLY??

STOP DESTROYING OUR PLANET. IT'S WHERE I KEEP ALL MY STUFF.
Life is like a box of terrible analogies.
In case of emergency, BREAK DANCE.

we're a world that's slowly forgetting obedience, conformity and sanity.

Decadence, decadence!

There's always a RIGHT TIME and RIGHT AGE to fulfill your dreams. :)

Pwede naman syang suportahan ng mga parents nia eh, I think that's sweet. Pero iba ang support sa toleration. Don't they realize that their child is too young to sail the world all by herself? Kaloka. Tapos pag may mangyaring masama sa anak nila, magwawala sila. Jusme.
TEENTALKING SINCE NOVEMBER 1, 2003! :)

I STILL WISH ON THE STARS AS THEY FALL FROM ABOVE.♥
