Well, I did some research and found out that the low carb and high protein diet is actually not gonna work for a person wanting to lose weight. I read that this diet can help you lose weight. My friend tried this and he lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks without going to the gym.

They said that the body needs to be more "alkaline" than acidic. A recommended diet is 80% alkaline and 20% acidic. Alkaline foods do not include meat and are mainly vegetables, fruits, spices and nuts. You may try to add poached eggs and chicken breast to complete the diet. I am yet to try this but if certain scientists claim this is effective, then I think its time! Hahaha :)

Yes thats what I read sis. Actually, I tried to look for alkaline based meat but there have been some inconsistencies. Some say that there's no meat at all. Some says you can eat poached eggs, tuna or chicken breast. In any case, to lose weight, you may still eat 20% of acid based foods and 80% alkaline foods.

For nuts, you may try almonds as its alkaline based... Lots of fruits and veggies... No carbs, not much protein. It's been featured in CNN so Ill try it in 2 weeks and will post the results here too.

I have to start early! I tried doing it about 2 days ago but I cant help but keep on going back to eating meat!! haaaay.. I need some motivation, as in!!! My friend told me that they experimented on a woman who was like 300 lbs i think and in months, she went down to 120 lbs. amazing!!! it sounds too good to be true but there's no harm in trying!

Uy I wanna try this too. Kaya lang impossibleng mag no meat ako eh, since hindi ako ang nagggrocery and nagpprapare at nagbubudget for food. Lol.

Pero siguro I can increase my intake of fruits and veges, which are alkaline foods. :)

nakita ko nga tong nafeature sa TV. effective daw ito. pero ako imposible din mag all meat! hindi ko talaga kaya! pero pwede naman daw na 80% fruits and veggies ang focus tapos 20% meat. tsaka dapat sobrang cut down ka sa sugar!

Oh this is the board I've been looking for! I tried this diet almost 2 weeks ago. Pumayat ako ng konti! One week pa lang, I see results na. My mom bought me this shirt and sinukat ko, ang sikip talaga, halos di kasya. After a week, I tried it on again, Kumasya na sya! Di na kita bilbil! Ngayon, almost 2 weeks na at kuamsya na ulit sakin yung old clothes ko, hindi na masagwa unlike dati. I really tried to avoid meat as much as possible, all kinds of meat including yung masasarap na crabs and shrimp! Pero nung Christmas and just a few days ago napakain ako ng ham and shellfish  ;D Pero konti lang talaga, kasi pinigilan ko talaga sarili ko. I'll continue with this diet, hoping na pumayat pa ko. :) Thanks for sharing this diet sis! :D Any stories with this diet sisses?

Haha! Yeah, everybody join me, Congratulations! Lol. Yes sis thank God at kinaya ko kahit papano. Every morning, usually fruits lang talaga and two glasses of water, plus green tea with calamansi. Lunch, ayun I eat mostly anything(except meat), I eat veges, vege pancit, pancit canton, bread, soup, kamote, corn. Ayun usually kinakain ko at lunch time then two glasses of water again. At dinner, I only drink fruit shake, laging dalawang klaseng fruit, usually, one banana and a slice of papaya, one apple and one banana, mga ganun, then 1 glass of water yung i-hahalo sa fruits, no sugar. Pero pag medyo ginutom pa ko ulit at dinner, I eat corn or fruit salad, or anything available, basta in moderation lang and no meat. Medyo dinadamihan ko water intake ko 8 glasses or kung kaya pa, evern more.

Umiinom din ako ng wheat grass at night, yung powdered na. 15 days na kong umiinum nun, kasabay ng alkaline diet ko. I'm thinking kung bibili pa ko ulit nun, medyo pricey kasi sya eh. around 30 or 40 something pesos ang isang sachet nya pantimpla.

Ayun napansin ko pumayat nga ako without going to the gym, saka I feel full naman, parang hindi diet, yun nga lang no meat talaga.

Medyo health conscious na kasi talaga ako kaya siguro kinaya ng will power ko. Hehehe. Naging low blood kasi ako at laging nagkakasakit na din kahit chubby ako kaya talagang gusto ko ng lifestyle change. Hehehe. Wish me luck sisses! Sana pumayat pa ko more! Try nyo din mga sis baka effective din sanyo tong alkaline diet!
