Hm. Maganda tong book na to. Promise! Kaso, while I'm reading it, Parang twilight saga. I think some of the ideas of Hush Hush ay kinuha sa Twilight.

I bought this last month. 2 days ko lang binasa, nakakahooked. Pero yeah, if you liked twilight you will also like Hush hush

Just finished reading this one. WOOOO. Sobrang na-hook ako sa story na to. Sobrang romantic, ang daming cheesy lines na talagang kikiligin ka. I like the story, and i honestly find Hush Hush much better than twilight. Haha! No offense pero mas gusto ko kasi pag mga angels. Ang cuteee. Haha. Basahin mo to, swear ang ganda. :> CAN'T WAIT FOR CRESCENDO. Kailan ba release ng crescendo? September 2010 ba or October?

I liked it a lot although i think it would  have been better if the author had explored Patch's back story a bit more. And in that note, i would just like to point that Patch's character is utterly irresistible. And no offense meant to Twilighters out there but this book is a bazillion times better than all the twilight books combined.

OMG, I'm so happy you people know about Hush Hush. Becca Fitzpatrick is one of the most promising authors I know. I love Patch, and the writing is gorgeous of course. Haha, @mrs.anakin skywalker, I would agree, but I wouldn't want to change the book. I loved it. Wouldn't change a thing .

Yes there is. Crescendo. And it will be out in the market on November 16, just like what Liebe mentioned.
I heard that in Crescendo, Fitzpatrick tackled the mystery behind the death of Nora's father and there would be a new guy character and some of the characters from Hush, Hush will have bigger roles in the sequel, particularly Marcie Millar.

OMG do you think he was killed to kill Chauncey? You have to kill a descendant, right? And Chauncey was on Nora's dad's side? :O And you don't think Patch killed him?

Based from goodreads.com, here's the plot of Crescendo:

Nora should have known her life was far from perfect. Despite starting a relationship with her guardian angel, Patch (who, title aside, can be described anything but angelic), and surviving an attempt on her life, things are not looking up. Patch is starting to pull away and Nora can't figure out if it's for her best interest or if his interest has shifted to her arch-enemy Marcie Millar. Not to mention that Nora is haunted by images of her father and she becomes obsessed with finding out what really happened to him that night he left for Portland and never came home.

The farther Nora delves into the mystery of her father's death, the more she comes to question if her Nephilim blood line has something to do with it as well as why she seems to be in danger more than the average girl. Since Patch isn't answering her questions and seems to be standing in her way, she has to start finding the answers on her own. Relying too heavily on the fact that she has a guardian angel puts Nora at risk again and again. But can she really count on Patch or is he hiding secrets darker than she can even imagine?

AND I'M LIKE WHAT THE BLOODY HELL RIGHT. Patch falling for Marcie Millar? UGH, that, for me, is the worst thing that's ever written in my entire life. Kid'.

If you're familiar with the Immortal Series by Alyson Noel, the plot is kinda the same. 'Cause in the 2nd book of the Immortal Series, the guy there also fell for another girl, well not really fell as in fell in love since he was under a sinister spell, but bottom line is, just like Patch, the guy in this book I'm referring to also pulled away from the protagonist without a specific reason. And then it dawned on me how Hush, Hush is being compared to Twilight because of some similarities, and I also remembered how Fitzpatrick is being accused of having no originality and all that shiz.

Well, now I'm starting to believe that it's true based on my observations... lol. Ugh whatever, I better wait for Crescendo.
