57 were killed. Some people are still missing. What the? Are those people responsible for this can still be considered as humans? I've read in the newspaper that the catastrophe is indeed, a failure to arroyo's administration. She can't even do anything about it, since we all know, that maguindanao, is the place were Arroyo's opponent during the '04 election had 0 votes. She created a monster that killed all those lives.. I hope justice will prevail.

another scary thing is the people's reaction of this event. many are outraged, and many innocent people are also being draged to this. like the muslims, they want "all muslims and ampatuans dead." even the innocent ones too :o my point is, there are enough innocent people who died, why kill more? people who are ignorant  like that are no different with the masterminds of the unfaithful event.   >:(

It is horrible..heartbreaking. :| There are lots of innocent people especially media people na nadamay.  What they did wasn't humane. Because of this catastrophe the Philippines is now the most dangerous place for journalists. Justice for those who were killed.
You never were alone.
I was there. You just didn't look.

Agreed. It hurts to think that what happened gives our country a bad image, but it's true. We need justice for these people who were killed. I read once that the Philippines is the number 2 most corrupt country in Asia, number 1 being Thailand. But even with this happening, it makes us look like we are worse than corrupt. It's like the government isn't even worthy to be called the government. We do need justice for these people. I hope it will prevail.

Hays.

At least... tanggap na pumatay sila in a brutal way. Pero tayo? Nakakahiya talaga.

Walang moralidad gumawa nito.
What a MEAN, SELFISH jerk!

nakakalungkot talaga. we can't blame the Muslims kasi one of them did such a thing. kaya naman yang gawin ng ibang politiko na "Kristiyano" eh. kung may pagkakataon. this is a call for the masses to think twice before they vote.

can't wait to read The Prince, sabi kasi nga English 4 teacher namin ay makakarelate talaga sa situation ngayon.

The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli?

or the one by Antoine Saint-Exupery?

it is very much connected, yes. the main point of the book is "The end justifies the means"
