Maguindanao massacre...46 people killed
« on: November 24, 2009, 10:15:24 pm »
What can you say about the Maguindanao massacre that involved 46 people killed?

For me, it is a violation of human rights. Women who were part of the convoy according to a report in ABS-CBN were raped before they got killed and also, there was a pregnant woman with them. The wife of the gubernatorial bet was also killed and raped. There's also a rumor that some of them were decapitated by a chainsaw and buried alive.

I think people who are hungry for power will do anything to have that. As what Machiavelli said, "the end justifies the means."

It's just a pity that the provincial director of Maguindanao ignored the report of Vice Mayor Mangudadatu when he said that there's an incident that involves his wife but the director said "Wala kaming pakialam dyan."

Justice for the victims of Maguindanao massacre! >:(

masyado nang magulo yang isla na yan.

that should be put under martial law...a military directorate should manage the region instead of civil leaders.. suspend the writ of habeas corpus if need be.

oh, yeah, the writ was suspended after all.

good.

What happened was definitely savage, barbaric and uncivilized. Why can't people just mind their own businesses and run their own towns? Politicians in many parts of our country are always hungry for power but has never done anything significant to improve the standard of living in the Philippines.

I am still hoping for change :-(

I found out about it just today.  I was so shocked.  True what my dad said... Conscience is something that should be practiced everday, else, it will be gone.

These people already mastered the art of suppressing their conscience.

Kawawa naman yung families nung mga napatay sa massacre. Lalo na yung mga innocent people. Hindi talaga makatarungan yung ginawa ng mga kung sino mang gumawa nun! Do you think may political personalities involved? :/
I'm falling even more in love with you

I got so nervous when my Chinese classmate told me about this this morning. I thought she just misunderstood the news (since we haven't got much news about our countries that much), but she showed us a news report from China through net.

It's scary, really really scary.

shame to those who were responsible for this.
i'm fragile.
i'm hopeless.
i'm not perfect.
but i am FREE.
