"Summer Blaire Hilares?"

"Yes, that's it my dear."

"But why Mom?"

"You're not Kim Sun Ye anymore."

"What? I'm Kim Sun Ye! How can you say that I'm not Kim Sun Ye anymore?"

"You have to live in the Philippines for you to have a better and peaceful life."

"Mom, I'm okay. I don't know that place. Why do I have to live there?"

"Kim, please. Please do what I have said. You need to leave Korea."

"I can't leave you Mom."

"But you have too. Someday you will understand everything."







[Time before Summer's flight]
[SUMMER'S POV]

          I don't know what is the reason why do I have to leave Korea. My life is okay and everything is fine. What is the reason of my Mom? Why do I have to leave her and live independent in Philippines? I can't understand.

            I know I have a perfect life. Even if I'm living only with my mother. I'm fine and we're fine. Ahh... Mom why can't you tell me? Why do I have to wait for someday for me to know your reason? I have so many questions. I don't wanna leave you but you want.

            I don't wanna see sunset. Because life might end there. All I want to see is sunrise. Because it gives me strength. I don't want to rain but you want me to cry. I want Summer but now...I feel that Summer is not a good season for me it's only because everytime I hear the word Summer I remember that you want me to leave you.

Do you still love me Mom?

CHAPTER 1: THE START OF SUMMER


[SUMMER'S POV]

        Summer Blaire Hilares, this is my name. I'm already second year Mass Communication student of Black Dawn University and living independent in this democratic country. Namimiss ko ang Korea pero hindi ko makakaila na masaya ako sa pagtira ko dito sa Pilipinas. Dito, marami akong kaibigan. Sa Korea? Si Sarah lang pero dahil sa may pinagkakaabalahan siya, halos hindi na kami nakakapag-usap kaya nang papuntahin ako dito, hindi na ako nakapagpaalam sa kanya.

          Meron naman pumalit sa kanya, si Dylan. Si Dylan na nakatira sa tapat ng condo unit ko. He is a jolly guy and very popular in our university. Since first year college kasi, ilang pageant na ang nasalihan niya at palagi siya nananalo. Hindi siya sobrang gwapo at hunk ang dating pero may karisma siya na nagpapalakas ng dating niya.

           Hindi ako iniiwan ni Dylan. Ang akala nga ng mga nakakakita sa amin, kami talaga pero ang totoo kahit lagi kmai magkasama at magkausap,hindi namin nararamdaman ang mainlove sa isa't isa. Masaya lang talaga kami magkasama.

           Pero hindi ko naman sinasabi na imposible na hindi kami magkatuluyan balang araw.Wala ni-isang sagabal sa samahan namin. Walang nanliligaw at wala siya nililigawan. Basta ang iniintindi lang namin dapat magkasama kami sa lungkot at ligaya.

[END OF POV]

[6:00 AM]
[GREEN HEIGHTS CONDOMINIUM]

Knock! knock!

"Sum!!" Kanina pa katok ng katok si Dylan sa pintuan ni Summer.

"Dylan." tanging sagot ni Summer.

"Papasok na tayo ang bagal mo pa." sabi ni Dylan habang inaayos ang mala-anime niyang buhok.

"Heto na nga eh! Magantay ka."

[After 2 minutes]

"Ang tagal tagal mo kumilos panget ka pa rin noh!" sabi ni Dylan paglabas ni Summer mula sa unit nito.

"Weh? Kahit hindi naman.Hahaha."sabi hawi sa buhok mula sa kanang balikat.

"Hahaha! Hmp. Tara na Summy. Ang kapal mo talaga."

"Pero di ba hindi naman ako panget?" sabi ni Summer habang naglalakad na sila paalis ng condo.

"Oo na, oo na kahit hindi."biro ni Dylan at hinawakan ang kamay ni Summer.

"Liar ka. Hahaha."

"Oo na nga eh! Ano pa gusto mo?hahaha."

"Sabihin mong maganda ako."

"Baka mainlove ka sa akin pag sinabi ko 'yan sa'yo?"

"Weh? Hahaha. Patawa ka Dy."

"O baka naman inlove ka na sa akin kaya gusto mo sabihin ko na maganda ka?"

"Hahaha! ASA!"

"Hahaha. Kaya h'wag ka na mamilit."

"Oo na. Oo na."

"Pero Sum, maganda ka h'wag mo na itanong sa akin uli."

"Ayee..sige na nga."

"Tara na sakay na. Dami mo pang landi.Hahaha." then they go to school riding in the sports car of Dylan.
