http://abcnews.go.com/2020/hiv-criminal-busted-women-lied/story?id=8579258I just watched a replayed episode on Oprah a while ago, and it was about the story of 5 among 27 women who were infected of HIV/AIDS by one Philippe Padieu in the course of over 10 years.
Let me ask you ladies a question: who would most certainly fit the profile of an HIV positive woman?
Prostitutes? Drug Addicts? Convicted Criminals?
Well, let's break that prejudice because the women we're talking about here are middle-aged professionals, some are business women, and at least one is even a grandmother!
All of them were victimized by a "cool, slick and mesmerizing Karate Instructor" named Philippe Padieu.
Even when the red flag was raised among these women, some of them still continued to ignore the warning because they thought and they TRUSTED that they were in Trustworthy and exclusive relationship. The victims said that Philippe "looked" clean, neat and confident enough, and so they took him for his word.
It would take just a little bit more time for these women to finally know the truth that all of them were positive of HIV.
Well now, this should serve a lesson to us all so that we may be reminded of the traditional virtues of Chastity and Temperance.
Of course, most of us young people are weak when the stirrings of the flesh awake our sleeping passions, and God understands that.
Suppressing the sexual urges is very unhealthy, but it does not mean that we must be promiscuous. The message of this story is not to suppress our longing desires of intimacy and companionship, but only that we must be careful, prudent and wise.
At the very least, the most disinterested advice the story could give each and everyone of us is this:
when that 'moment' comes and if we really cannot avoid the 'moment', please, do not reach the point of penetration.
