TWITTER WARl "There is NO GOD" #1 Trending Topic on Twitter Today

I'm laughing my arse off right now.

I woke up, logged on to twitter and saw "No God" as the Top 1 trending topic. I clicked on it, hilarity ensued.

Apparently it all started when @revrunwisdom tweeted "No God, No Peace; Know God, Know Peace"

And from that, people started spewing their own interpretations. Soon thereafter, #NOGOD in every person's tweet. Of course, I joined in. Haha.

So understandably, a lot of christians were extremely offended and annoyed by the whole thing. Funny though, because its popularity can be attributed to each and every one of them who tweeted complaints about it. LOL

Now I do not condone bashing God or anybody's God for that matter, but it just annoys me how non-believers (or atheists like myself) have to hear "God is Love" and phrases like such... and have to just take it in and endure it... but as as soon as 'believers' hear anybody saying otherwise... they think it's comparable to murder. :S

At one point, twitter even took it off the trending topics, because the believers were complaining like there' no tomorrow. But I think they knew that was gonna add fuel to the fire and put it back on. Why should Twitter side with believers?

Anyways, just had to share this with you guys and see what you think of it.

that's double standard only on the atheists' part.

as atheists, they should be indifferent to the idea of God, faith and religion, unless (and I'll emphasize that word) unless there is a socio-political agenda.

simply put, the one who doesn't give a damn about fairy tales does not talk about fairy tales and does not meddle with the one who talks about fairy tales.
