GAH. Kuya Pach! Muntik na akong mainis sa'yo. HAHA. ;D

But after reading 1/4 of your post(tinatamad akong magbasa, msyadong mahaba  ;D), I agree. God has nothing to do with the disaster that Ondoy caused. Top of my list are the politicians. They're supposed to be the leaders. Second is yung mga tao. Tayo. If we have that discipline in us, we don't need the politicians to remind us over and over again. And naniniwala ako na it's a way of God to remind us na we can't live without him. That he's still existing. And he's still the one who can save us. Still, galing iyon sa KANYA.

Just my thoughts.  ;D :D

true. aside from that, we are all personally accountable, each and everyone of us, to the ballooning problem. we need vigilance when it comes to proper waste disposal and other important environmental concerns.

this time it's not corny to be an environmentalist.

Sorry nalang kung close minded; pero why the hell are people who don't pay taxes allowed to vote?

And about the Visa / Residency Card. I believe its very ideal. Matagal ata bago mangyari yan unless we go into some form of dictatorship. Saka ano magiging basis nito? Anyone can just say, "Pedicab driver ho ako" o kaya "Nagbebenta ako ng suman."

That is true, Jane. I'll commend you on that one. something is really wrong here.

It's because most Filipinos do not observe the Catholic virtues of Prudence (wise thinking) Justice (honesty and truthfulness), Temperance (self-control), Fortitude (hard-work and perseverance)

I hate it when I have to admit to myself that some non-Christian people are more Christian than Christians.

That is why we are poor.

isnt it reasonable to say that it's shallow-minded to look at the Church from a purely financial point of view?  ;D

granting that, indeed, we look into the church as pure money, perhaps we can let the facts speak for themselves:

we can't blame it on God because I believe that that is seriously pathetic. we are the one who make our own actions. the cause of flooding has two types, it is natural and human causes. if it was only the natural cause, yes, it is destructive. but since human causes are simply playing a big role, it worsened. The destruction caused became worse that these situations seemed inevitable when the truth is, it could be not.
