" Taylor Davis, my best friend since she moved here. Hindi ko alam if it's because we're both rich or dahil we just click.
"Found something new? She searched for the store's new arrivals.
"I asked Nick to follow here.""Boyfriend of the month?" Ok, you might call her a flirt, but she's not. There's a reason behind everything right? And she's got tons of it, for doing her "boyfriend for a month" rule.
"Any luck on finding h--?""Find what?" I don't know how the guy named Nick appeared before us, but suddenly he was there, and he was accompanied by this
tall, dark and good-looking man. Ok, scratch that. I was never the type to notice the opposite sex.
"John Andrei McKenzie, Ok. Did he just caught me staring at his colleague?
"Baby, a typical boy-next-door. My best friend." And he kissed Taylor on the lips, too showy. I looked outside the window for me not to see them.
"Crap! It can't be!" They stopped, but I saw --
"Ashley? Ok ka lang?" I swung my head sideways.
"Taylor, I think I saw -- nothing. Taylor, punta muna ako ng Starbucks ah?""Ashley, you sure you ok?"
"Yeah. Definitely.""Sama na 'ko. Kanina pa ako nag-ccrave ng frappe eh." Tinignan ko yung Andrei, hindi ko alam kung sasama ba talaga 'to sa'kin.
"Tara?" Pero, bahala siya, hindi ko din naman siya kailangan eh. I just need to unwind, relax and forget about my hallucination.
"I saw him." And he's a freak?! Talking to himself. HA-HA!
"Sino ba siya? Old friend of yours Ashley?""Andrei, I saw nothing. Baka naman you saw something else, or maybe, you're just imagining you saw things, but you really didn't. Because believe me, I saw nothing.""I know. Because, it's not something that you saw, Ashley, you saw "someone". Right?" And he neared my face, too close.
CLAP! CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!"Isn't it sweet?!" Ugh! Here comes the devil.

" He knows her?
Sino nga ba ang hindi kilala si Stella, with her attitude of an uneducated person, the world would surely remember her name.
"Intrigued Ashley?! I didn't know you look good next to my ex-boyfriend Ashley." Ex what?!
Of all the people, why the best friend of my best friend's boyfriend?
"Surprised?""Stella--""If you want him, you can have him back. And besides, I don't even know who he is, I don't even know his name." Then I walked out, not knowing where to go. Hindi ko alam kung bakit ko nasabi na hindi ko siya kilala, kahit alam ko naman kung ano yung name niya.
Too bitter? No. I'm just avoiding everything that has the slightest connection with that girl.
"Ate Ashley!" Ok. Sa kakamadali ko, hindi ko alam nakarating na pala ako sa JADE's. Dito kasi kami madalas nag-sstay, after class or before that.
"Hindi mo ba ako na-miss? I went to Canada, tapos wala man lang akong hug?" Hindi ko alam kung bakit ang gaan ng loob ko kay JD, siguro kasi ang cool niya. I hugged him.
"Yuck JD! And Ashley? Grosss!"We seperated and we laughed. Then I noticed, kasama pala niya si Nick and Andrei.
"KJ ka naman!" I saw Andrei smirked, what's his problem anyway?
"Taylor, move on! 
Ang bitter mo kay JD!"And JD placed his arms around Taylor.
"Oo nga Ate. Bakit ka ba ganyan sa'kin? May pasalubong naman ako sa'yo eh. New arrival ng Mango. 
" You heard it right, step-brothers si JD and Taylor.
"New neighbours?""No. They moved here the day after you went out of town. Because they thought this town's safe. And now they know it isn't anymore, now that you're back. And who are you again?""Buti pa si Ate Ashley, ang taas ng memory!" I saw Andrei utter the words, "Yeah right" And I know Taylor saw that too.
"Deities." The magic word, head kasi kami ng organization sa school. Hindi naman siya sorority pero, parang ganun din. We don't do hazing or harmful things like that. When the magic word is said, a private conversation should be held.
I went out of the group, and went inside JADE's and headed for the counter.
"Ashley, anong problema mo? Too obvious. Kanina ko pa kayo napapansin ni Andrei.""She is Stella's ex-boyfriend. I don't want to be close to him, or even talk to him."
"Ashley, wala ka ng magagawa dun. Stella's unbelievable. Andrei broke up with her. Bitter lang yun."
"Kahit pa. Taylor, I need to rest, I need some time to unwind."
"Sure ka? Ingat ka ah?"

I turned on my Ipod, shuffled my playlist and started running not knowing where to go. Then, I heard this song -
*click* I was about to move to another song, but I was dumbfounded when i found out that my Ipod was turned off. I tried turning it on, but it won't open. The music came from the park, the song finished, I saw no one.
"For you I will. . .' the voice was, sweet. Then, I realized my tears are falling.
"This would help." and he handed me a hanky. I can't see his face, it's too dark.
"Thanks. How did you know the song?""Cool right? Too much drama?""Yeah. Reminds me of someone.""Someone new? or someone from the past?""I care less of the present and care much more on what's left behind.""Waiting for someone to come back?""N..no. O..of c..co..oourse n..not.t.t""Scared of them?""No. Mad at them for keeping me waiting.""And if they're the scared-ones? Scared that you might hate them for what they've done.""What if they just fulfill their promises, and come back?""Just wait princess, they will.""Ashley! What happened?!" Taylor? The next thing I know, Andrei's carrying me, and I'm crying.
"Someone's with me. He knows everything about my past. 
""Shhh.. everything will be alright. Rest princess, rest." He called me what?
I tried to get out of his hold, but it's just to tight.
"you always want what you can't have. . ." and he's singing the same song.
