pero syempre there's this part of me saying na sana mali ako, na sana mali ang aking akala (albeit a huge blow to my ego), para magkaron naman tayo ng isang tunay at dedikado na public servant.


kasi im just looking at the issue from the purely pragmatic/political point of view. the inner logic of dirty politics leads to no other conclusion but to that which i have said. (madumi isip ko, madumi pulitika, kaya nagkakasundo kami)

now, if Noynoy wins, then it's time for him to shatter the decades-old foundation of corruption and the structural forces of injustice, lalo ka na, maganda ka pa naman. hehe!

basically, all their veneer of modesty doesnt aim at people who are in-the-know,rather it's a strategy to woo the masses.

remember that the number one thing in the mind of any running candidate is the group that can pack the most number of votes - the Masses. they need the masses, and the best way to get them on your side is to identify with them.

that explains why Erap during his 1998 campaign drove a jeepney, why Mar Roxas rides on a Pedicab and why Manny Villar brags about his being raised in Tondo.

evidently, Noynoy couldnt do any of those because the jeepney isnt his thing, the pedicab is already his runing mate's trademark and he wasnt born and raised in Tondo. so what's left of him?

Ok lets put this way Noynoy is Ninoy and Cory's son. but election is not about popularity.
what can Noynoy do to our country?
can he follow what his parents have done?
he may be the son but his NOT NINOY and most of all his NOT CORY.

^Well, all we can do is hope for the best. Let's just hope that he'll be like his parents. So far, ang nakikita kong magandang team is yung kay noynoy and mar pa lang.. (and Legarda and Chiz if they will run.)

Mas lalo ko tuloy gusto bumoto, kasi parang this election is so important to everyone (well, every election is impt.) kasi we all want a change for the betterment of our society. too bad im not even in the phils. hays! wanna vote sana.

Sana lang yung mga politicians, ngaun sila lumabas para tulungan yung mga nasalanta ng bagyo, hindi yung kamay lang ng kamay wala naman dalang relief goods. I haven't heard of any politicians kasi na tumulong na sa mga flood victims eh. (OT yata ako.)

being a PRESIDENT means SUPER BIG RESPONSIBILITIES..  and sa Filipino people out there, sana iboto nila yung deserving talaga sa pwesto.. sa totoo lang, hindi ko pa nga masabi na deserving si Noynoy kasi although anak siya ni Cory at Ninoy, it doesn`t mean na magiging maganda yung kalalabasan ng pamamahala niya..kumbaga, it`s a different story naman.. the number one thing to do is ask for God`s guidance para sa atin at para sa bansa natin.. kung mananalo nga si Noynoy sa election, sana ipakita niya na deserving talaga siya pwesto, pangalagaan niya yung reputation nila and mahalin niya at resputihan niya yung bansa tapos h`wag kung saan-saan igasta yung pera tulad ng iba diyan...

Sa tingin ko kasi kahit na parehong magulang niya ang pinagkatiwalaan at naging epektibong politiko noon eh ganun din siya. Opinion ko lang to ah, pero feeling ko... wala siyang kakayahan. Ewan ko. Wala akong alam sa mga ginagawa ng mga politiko na yan sa pamamahala at hate na hate ako ang politics, pero yun talaga eh. Para bang naadvertise niya yung sarili niya poag nababanggit si Cory, lalo na sa 'LABAN SIGN' na yun.

Eto pang si Mar. Pwede bang senator na lang sila forever? hahahaha. Okay na yun. Haha.
