in our school, meron kming fs prom. .jaja as in freshmen and sophomores promenade...gosh! im really thankful n naabutn nmin un kc ung next batch, d n nkexperience nun kc tinnggl n. . d nmn mxado msaya mas p dn ung js prom.,, pero xempre charged to experience un jaja.

1st year students are still young and fresh and have 4 more years of high school. In the other hand Juniors and Seniors have only a year or two to enjoy high school and they are really stressed out for sending college application they deserve some night out to enjoy and be with their high school friends

hindi ko naisip yung tanong ni TS.. nga naman, mas masaya kung may party dn ang freshmen and sophomores.. wala lang..

but tama nga naman yung mga prev post na turn over ceremony yun

Proms are for the juniors and seniors because it is a formal occasion all about the graduating batch passing over the "responsibilities" to the next in line. Yun yung pinaka-meaning ng prom.

Come to think of it, di ba ang sayang maghintay na magprom ka? It's an experience you'll have for one or two times. Something to look forward to ang prom. Habang freshmen pa kayo, enjoy the consideration of your teachers and have a blast adjusting to the new environment.

P.S. My freshmen years were all just pure fun. You can get away with pranks and violations kasi people think nga you're going through an adjustment period.  lol.

<sub>As what others have said na in this topic, the JS Prom isn't merely a dance; it's a passing-over of the responsibilities of the Seniors to the Juniors, who will take over what the Seniors have done in the next school year. Sila na ang magiging ate at kuya, so kailangan, formally na silang i-introduce to the role.

Aside from that, my adviser told us, the Seniors, na kaya daw walang Prom ang Freshmen at Sophomores ay para daw ma-excite naman sila na umabot sa Juniors and Seniors level. Kung bibigyan din naman daw sila ng Prom, edi pagdatin talaga nila sa JS, hindi na sila excited kasi naranasan na nila. It's one of the reason why Freshmen and Sophomores want to reach Juniors kaagad, kasi they want to experience it, too.</sub>

We only had a senior prom. In our case it's like the ending song to our high school lives. I wanted my prom date to be the person who made my high school life memorable, that one person you will never forget in high school (hindi siya pumunta though ayaw gumastos)  pero ok lang we're still really close friends till now
