Beastly is a 2011 romantic fantasy film based on Alex Flinn's 2007 novel of the same name. It is a retelling of the fairytale Beauty and the Beast set in modern-day New York City. The film is written and directed by Daniel Barnz and stars Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer.
The plot focuses on Kyle Kingson, a wealthy and arrogant high school student. During an environmental event, he disrespects a classmate, who is secretly a witch in disguise. The witch then casts a spell on Kyle to disfigure his body and face, giving him a year to find love or be left with his monstrous appearance forever.
Hey Guys. So, showing na `to tomorrow. And I'm very excited to watch it. I've read the novel and watched the trailer. And may mga positive feedbacks kasi maganda yung cast.

just watched this from a downloaded torrent. di masyadong maganda yung quality. anywaaay, i was so disappointed with this movie. i hate the casting. and the flow of the story was plain boring :/ i guess the alex pettyfer-vanessa hudgens tandem saved the movie :/

i just finished watching Beastly last night... i buffered it at home... it's a modern beauty and the beast.. it was not deep.. and a very light and mild story. it was nice.. though i wished for something deeper than that.. actually, i was expecting for more because i got excited with it's trailer last year...
