as long as I can remember, the only Korean Restaurant I had eaten in is Hanayo near UST. The dishes are delicious. And their ice creams too!

If any ilongga here loves korean food, these places are the "must-go-to korean" restaurants in iloilo city...

1. Kang Byeon (located at timesquare river side inn bldg) - they have the best samgyupsal in iloilo city; also gamjattang, hemul pajeon and different jjigaes

2. Don Galbi (ledesco village)- famous for its galbi and grand side dishes

3. hui zhen (korean-chinese at smallville)- famous for jajangmyeon, jjampong ang tansuyok

4. seoulia (beside st clement's church)- famous for their yangyum chicken and mandu

5. sky (near CPU)- taokbikki; rapokki; yangyum chicken; and jiggaes

other restaurants

Blue Ocean at boardwalk
KGB at smallville
Miora (Ramyeon house)- outside ledesco village
Everything will be OK in the end. If it's not OK...then it's not yet the end.

If you love Samgyupsal, eat at HwangSo. It's a Korean resto across Astoria Plaza hotel in Ortigas

I tried Bibim Naengmyun once and got hook. It is cold noodles topped with gojuchang, thinly sliced beef, and yummy vegetables. You mix them all together, and you get the most delicious food ever. Believe me, try it once and you will be addicted.

Palagi ko kinakain yung bibimbap sa Korean restaurants :) Of course, may kimchi rin. Side dish talaga yan sa Korea and there's never a time daw na at every meal time, hindi sila kumakain ng kimchi. Dito sa Davao, sikat ang Somang Kimchi restaurant. ^^

Try "woo-ri-jib" restaurant. I think it's in Katip. Love the ambiance and the korean vibe. And of course, the food. Samgeopsal, bulgogi, etc..

If you're near UP/Teachers' village, madami doon. sa campus sa shopping center, there's Mashiita. Sa Kalayaan Avenue there's Bulgogi Garden, Dae Yang and Woorijib. Nice Mart naman sa Matalino Street for convenience store stuff (yes, including Korean ice cream)

Where We Traveled: Korea

by: angel, 2013-05-15

I'm not a K-Pop fan and I've never watched any Koreanovelas, so when my friends decided to go to Korea for our next barkada trip, I was only moderately excited. But after spending...
