I tried eating once in a Korean restaurant (forgot the name) along Katipunan Ave. and boy was it good! We sat on the floor; it was really different compared to other Korean restaurants. Their beef stew and spicy rice are the best! [:

I've had a few Korean dishes I've really liked. I LOVE gimbap. Oh my goodness. Then, I grew to love bibimbap served in a hot stone-pot because I used to live literally 2 blocks away from a place that served it that way. So yummy!
BUT the best I've had was actually prepared by my best friend's mom in high school :)

However, I have yet to grow a love for kimchi. I'm just not a fan... But my other Korean friend told me that it's probably because I've just never had good, homemade kimchi.

There's a really good one here in Hayward, CA. It's called Korea House. They even grill the meat, squid, etc... right in the middle of your table. Pretty cool. It's affordable too.

Pero in general favorite ko is kimchi fried rice, bibimbap, samgyupsal, ddukbokki with odaeng.

I don't know any Korean Restaurant in the Metro but in Cebu, there's a lot. Especially near the IT Park. Although di ko pa na-try kasi wala akong kasama. Ayaw kong mag-solo flight. Hehe.
