Harry Potter series or Twilight saga?

As for Harry Potter... Well, it really was meant to have MANY segues. Kaya nga ginawang SERIES, 'di ba? Saan ka ba naman nakakita ng series na isang diretsong daan lang ang patutunguhan bg kwento? Ano pa't ginawa pang series ang kwento kung walang segue sa plot nito? And the fact that its story has depth means that it is MUCH worthwhile to read. Kasi mas PINAG-ISIPAN ang kwento. Mas nakakawiling pagbuhusan ng panahon at oras, kasi walang-kawala sa thrill.

para sa akin na fan parehas, nahihirapan akong i-explain kung bakit ko sila gusto. ha ha. siguro ganito nalang, Harry Potter kasi, more on magical and fiction things pero talaga namang na-capture ni J.K Rowling ang puso ng madla sa kanyang storya. awesome kasi syang magbigay ng effects sa storya. halos hindi ka na makakain sa kakabasa dahil parang napakaimportante ang bawat page. on the other hand naman, sa twilight saga, si Stephenie Meyer tumawid sya sa kabilang dako. nagbigay sya ng ibang idea o ng focus. all about vampires. pero mapupukaw din yung mata mo kasi may itatanong ka na what ifs, how ifs pagkatapos ng storya. ayun lang yun lang po yung opinyon ko about that

always Harry Potter!! Rowling is a genius!! she made a generation!! i've grown to read the books over and over and watch the movies over and over (i'm 11 when the 1st movie was released) and prolly when i have kids, i'll share with them the world of Harry Potter :-)

but i also like Twilight, though not as much as before.. i've always been fascinated with vampires (i just don't like that Meyer made her vampire sparkly, that's a little too trying hard)

It's gotta be HP. Genius plot, of course, is so much more than a plus. All the twists and wonders are fascinating.
Twilight is good, no doubt. But I don't think it will surpass HP, IMHO. It's a little too glum for most parts. At least, it's a way to 'spark' our liking for vampires. Nuff said.

Twilight.  I didn't like HP that much. dunno why tho  but I guess it's great.

It will always be the HP series. Harry and his friends taught me virtues the Twilight characters never had. I grew up with them. They are my childhood.
I have read Twilight and, really, it's got nothing compared to the Harry Potter series. Hahaha.

I don't know why we keep on comparing these two series when in fact it has different set of readers (age group) but since nagtanong na lang din naman, mas pipiliin ko ang HP. Masaya kasi ang "tempo" niya while Twilight is meant to be melodramatic and a bit "dark". So depende sa personality ng reader. Again, don't judge the book by its movie. Haha!

Ang galing ng imagination ni Rowling. Isipin nyo lahat ng characters nagsurvive sa utak nya? T___T

I'm not done with HP series. Pero as of now, sobrang galing. Twilight Saga naman tapos ko na bahasin except yung Midnight Sun. Pero I still choose Harry over Edward.  And pati sa movie. Mas prefer ko HP kesa sa Twilight.

That's the gist of that quote. And seriously? HP UNKABOGABLE!

Theses series shouldn't even be compared. They're on different levels.

HARRY POTTER!

I changed my mind about choosing Twilight haha!! I've watched the HP movies but I knew there was something is missing that is why I'm planning to read all the HP series.  Nung binabasa ko pa lang yung HPATSS di ko mabitawan yung libro haha! No second is too nonsense  when you're reading HP, something I didn't felt when I was reading the Twilight series. I don't hate Twilight, kasi kahit papaano sinubaybayan ko din siya, but somehow it made me regret that I should choose HP before haha! I was first a Twilight fan (not that kind of die-hard fan haha!) but looking back it makes me say "Oh gosh, what am I  even thinking!"   So to sum it up, its really Harry Potter.

Can't we just let this die? It's like asking which is better, The Beatles or Justin Bieber? Both are very different from each other. I don't even know why or how this argument ever started.
