I have to admit that Nate & Blair were annoying in this episode. I like that they have a platonic thing going on & I also like that Chuck & Vanessa are blowing this out of proportion & kept on assuming.
But Blair was pretty demanding! I mean, she should've stayed as Nate's friend, you know? She shouldn't have expected ANYTHING about her thing with Nate. She was OK up to the point where Chuck talked to him about the sparks thing (remember? before the sparks thing came up & messed with Blair's mind, Blair is perfectly contented with being just friends with Nate. "We are purely platonic. We're just friends. I bring him breakfast.").
However, as it happens, Chuck messed with her mind again. So she went out of her way to urge Nate to break up with Vanessa. The "can't you just break up with her through text?" suggestion was irritating. She's being a spoiled brat again.
&& Nate, as much as I'd love to love him right now, did break up with Vanessa. In a sort-of rude way! Not much how I expected him to handle things, you know?
&& Blair's actions during the party? WTF is that??
Props for the cool snow scene, though. That's great.
But the Chuck-Vanessa thing in the end? "Just like botox: painful & unnecessary!" (Forgive the Sex and the City reference. Hahaha)
