what books do you want to see as films?
« on: March 28, 2009, 03:25:40 pm »
well the rule here is simple just list the books you want to see as a movie and say something about it. Make sure that nobody has ever made it into a film adaptation.

well for me its "secrets of platform 13" by eva ibbotson.
It brings out the child in me, and every one i know who read it felt inspired and happy about the story. It is full of magic and love.

Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom  ;) . I cried kasi when I was reading the book, so most probably kung gagawa din sila ng movie nyan, iiyak talaga ako. haha. I like tearjerker movies and books kasi :D

Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin. You'll recognize the beauty and abundance of life given to you by reading this book. It tells a thought that being young and old doesn't have boundaries. Hence, it creates an unlimited time to set a goal you want to achieve even if you know you'll be gone soon. It has a magical story with a different twist. :)
...Huwag kang magseryoso sa taong hindi naman interesado sa'yo. Para ka lang nagpagod maperfect ang isang exam na hindi naman recorded...

ako naman i want All American Girl by Meg Cabot, Cheerleader Series by Kieran Scott (I Was A Non-blonde Cheerleader, Brunettes Strike Back & Non-blonde Cheerleader in Love), Faeries series by Melissa Marr (Wicked Lovely, Ink Exchange and Fragile Enternity), Beyond the Blonde and Eleven Minutesby Paulo Coelho. ang ganda kasi ng stories nila eh.  :)

McArthur by Bob Ong. :)

it would be nice to have a little break from love stories. :D
the mere thought of you is enough to bring me in the world of solitude.

SOPHIE KINSELLA

I would love to see Stargirl and Love, Stargirl on the big screen, but, I guess my imagination's better, so... I'll remove this from my list. ^^

Remember Me will be a typical movie... Actually while reading it I can see the movie already, it's like I'm reading something I've already watched. ^^

As to my reply on the topic...

I would love to see the Vampire Academy series of Richelle Mead be turned into a movie.

Vampire Academy, Frostbite, and Shadow Kiss.

I don't know, but, I just want to see it on the big screen. It's also a break from those super cheesy and typical love stories. This has vampires, friendship, and love in it. ^^
