yup, kelangan mag-qualify ung grade ko.
I attended the pre-confirmation orientation sa la salle yesterday.
what is the hardest major?
Buti nag attend ka ng pre-confirmation orientation. I attended mine too back then and it was really helpful. Hardest major? Or hardest specialization? If you meant specialization, ummm honestly, it depends on your forte.
If you're into high-level programming, ST. You have to have good logic & reasoning skills 'cause programming's like solving puzzles (and sometimes, very frustrating ones). If you want to be a software engineer/game developer, pick ST.
If your interest lies on how hardware works, CSE. You'll be programming din, but you'll be dealing mostly with low-level languages. You'll be studying things like embedded programming. The simplest example I can think of are LED lights--you'll be programming code to make it turn on, etc. In contrast sa ST which is focused on software architecture, CSE deals with how the hardware acts.
IST naman prepares you to teach (along the lines of comsci or technology). Like how to make software for teaching, or how to teach through computers. I know the IST people had a website project once, so I guess you'll be able to incorporate a little bit of multimedia arts in this specialization. They also had the option to take a photography course. Tapos meron din silang education course, parang principles of education or something like that.
NE deals with stuff like network systems, security, etc, you'll be solving stuff like how to design networks for a corporation. I can't really talk about this in depth 'cause I'm more familiar with the other specializations.
Basta the thing to keep in mind is to ask people like upperclassmen from different specializations about the things they do/study so you get an idea beforehand. You only declare your specialization on your third term, but before that they'll be giving you another orientation on how to pick your specialization. On your 1st and 2nd term you'll all be studying the same stuff, so don't sweat it just yet. It's good to know what you want to do ahead of time though, so look around. Good luck!

If you have other questions, just ask.
