What's the best gift your parents gave you?

The best 18th birthday gift my mom gave me would be co signing for my car - without her I wouldn't have my own car =)
I wish she could pay for my car note and insurance too

Love! :] From the time my mom got pregnant, gave birth, then how they raise me til now. I'm so thankful because they provide me everything I need sometimes what I want but I dont abuse. Almost everything they gave me means to me I mean even though I dont ask for it they really give it to me as long as they can see its useful for me. Oh this coming June is my 18th birthday but still I dunno what gift they will give me. But I wont expect to much as long as were bound together I'm gonna be contented and happy. :]

They gave me a car, and although I can say that I'm lucky to have one, I know I'll always be more fortunate to have studied in excellent schools all throughout my life. Education's always been on my parents' top priority; they've always been mindful of my future. :] They give me a lot of things too, but I know that they won't be providing for me forever. I'm super thankful for what they do, like how they give me all the opportunities they can give to prepare me to stand up on my own. When they tell me they're proud of me for doing things, they'll never know how much prouder I am of them for being able to give me all the tools I need to get to where I want. OMGGG. Tama na. I'm getting too sappy. Rarrr. Hahahah.

I guess I'm just a really strong believer of the old saying "give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day, but teach man how to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."

Aaand of course, like Karenjeet, there's looove. :] I don't even know where to begin describing all the things they do 'cause they love me. Goshh this thread makes me feel super lucky.

Yep, love talaga ang most important. I'm really thankful to have an advantaged life thanks to my loving parents 'cause when I think about the other people out there na iniwanan or basta may problema with their parents, I feel bad talaga for them although I'm happy for me, so salamat talaga kay God for letting me have them as my parents ^^

when my dad allowed me to join our exposure trip abroad and that costs around 50k.. we are not rich, so i can say thats the best material gift so far. dad will send me in a good school this coming school yr for college.

for the material things, well. a few years ago, they gave me a cellphone and a copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince book for my 11th birthday and elementary graduation.
