I got mine when I was 18. I think it's the law or something from where I'm from.  ;D

In the states, you're allowed to have YOUR OWN credit card when you reach the legal age of 18.
What I meant by your own credit is YOUR name is in it, YOU'RE making payments for it and it is YOUR credit history that is in the line....


not your parents.  ::)

I got my debit card (i'm not sure if that's what they're called, visa electron??) when i was 14.. and when i turned 18 i got a credit card.. but yeah, i set it up soo I can't overdraw, i'd have to call the bank first and have a good excuse why i'd overdraw..

I'm 18 and I don't even have a credit card yet. LOL.
I think I'll just get my first credit card when I already have my own paycheck to pay the bills with. Haha.

Credit card? Just a few weeks ago. lol. I'm 19.
I've had a debit card since I was 16... that was when I got my first job.

I wish I didn't get so dependent to it. Now, I can't imagine my life without credit cards. I couldn't stop charging. :|

Actually, I'm planning to apply for a credit card of my own. That means I'm the one who'll have to pay for the charges. I hope that'll curb my "charging sickness".

I was 17.  I use it only for emergencies (like when I'm traveling) or for groceries when I run out of the money I've already budgeted due to some unforeseen expense.  Otherwise, I don't really use it.

i agree with you siz..

yung iba nagyayabang na may credit card sila.. pero hindi naman sila ang nagbabayad.. pero hindi naman name nila ang nakalagay.. show off!
