God allows pain simply because you caused it to happen. There's a big difference between allowing and causing.

and what is the explanation for people who die because of natural calamities?

Tornado kills 19 church goers in Alabama

So what would be the reason for them to cause the tornado to happen? Did they pray to the wrong church? Now these are religious folks to say the least. So what is the explanation for this pain caused to the families of those victims?
You shall no longer take things at second or third hand nor look through the eyes of the dead, nor feed on the spectres in books
You shall not look through my eyes either nor take things from me
You shall listen to all sides and filter them from yourself

Another best example as to why the LORD God allows pain...  :)

James 1:2-8
New International Version (NIV)
Trials and Temptations

2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

Hebrews 12:7-13
New International Version (NIV)

7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? 8 If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. 9 Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! 10 They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. 11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

12 Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. 13 “Make level paths for your feet,”[a] so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.

God puts us in trials for us to be moulded and shaped according to His purpose. we may not know or realize it now but He had already planned everything that is and will be happening to us.

without these trials, we won't even bother to come to the Lord and realize that He is the only One we need. we may do our best to solve our problems but sometimes,  our best is not enough. He is our real strength in every situation and in everything we do. in ourself, we cannot do anything.

I won't deny it: I spend way too much time online. Mostly I'm just stalking people on Facebook and Instagram, other times I'm doing something more useful like reading articles...
