That money was meant for the people who were in her facility that were near death. Oh by the way, once you get into her "death house", no family member is allowed to see you until you die. Thats their rule. Cruel isnt it? Yet people idolize her.

who told you this?  san sang sources mo.

I personally am involved with the Missionaries of Charity Soup Kitchen here in the South Bronx where we serve food for homeless people.

I feel so disrespected, that, as a Christian, i can see these things posted on the net. i am no longer looking for a debate, but i just feel so disrespected.

Its normal for you to feel that way, since you never scrutinized those who you idolize. If you had fifty million dollars on your account, would you help to feed the poor? Would you build a community to improve the lives of those who cannot help themselves? or would you build another church for fellow believers like you? Guess what, Mother Teresa did the third, the people in her care continuously suffered as donations keep pouring in to help them and all she did was build more monasteries for her sisters. She got known for her house for the dying and she sure kept it that way and spent the money somewhere else.

If you serve the needy, good for you and you have my gratitude, at you've proven to me that you are better than that woman.
You shall no longer take things at second or third hand nor look through the eyes of the dead, nor feed on the spectres in books
You shall not look through my eyes either nor take things from me
You shall listen to all sides and filter them from yourself

This is so wrong on many levels. I simply refuse to believe that because it plainly is not the truth.

I've expected that response from you. Like I said, did you even bother to hear what Mother Teresa said about pain and suffering? For the sake of kindness and ease, I will give it to you word for word.

"We see Christ in the broken body and we touch him and that touch is comes (coming) from that deep faith that Christ cannot deceive"

Wow, seriously?! she has some pretty disturbing obsession about people suffering. She had millions upon millions of dollars to aid those people who are already dying under her care, yet she spent them instead into franchising her sisterhood while those under her care continuously die. What is also disturbing is she had the only organization (I believe) in India that did not disclose to the public where her organization's finances are being spent.

I do admire her for her devotion in giving primary assistance for those who are mortally ill, her devotion to do good. However, like all human beings, falls short when faced with the same temptations normal people (religious or not) are exposed to: :fame, money and power.

By the way, I forgot to add earlier, there is a third reference I would like you to read

"Mother Teresa: The Final Verdict" by Aroup Chatterjee

That's an opinion. But i highly remain skeptical. At best, it is an opinion.

i learned from church na God gives us suffering for us to recognize him, for us to run into his arms because people, human as we are, we forget him during the good times and blame him for the bad ones.

God allows suffering because through our sufferings, we come to Him. And for us to become stronger individuals.

I'm really moved by this. :)  I believe that we, as humans living on Earth, suffer from pain for us to know that there is God of whom we can lean on to. Thank you for sharing this short story, I'mma blog this. :D

imagine a world without pain and suffering..
would you ever thought of God if everything is in order,
He allowed it to happen so that we will seek Him,
wherein He is the one glorified and magnified after you've
gone through all these, we can't boast anything for ourselves,
but only through His grace and mercy...

Romans 8:28 says "And  we know that in all things, GOD works for the good of those who love Him,  who have been called according to His purpose ... "

GOD allows pain into our life because it draws us closer to HIM., whether you would like to admit it or not, it is during those times that you are in pain that you feel closer to HIM and you talk to Him the most...

GOD allows pain into our life to  shape our character. it is during those times that you learn what  and who you are. and every time you face pain is when you gain new character.

Just like the Story when Peter denies Jesus Three times. He allows us to feel pain, to have sin and such so that our faith will be strong. Jesus wants us to be close to him to reach him voluntarily. Kung walang pain or sufferings tingin niyo ba lalapit tayo kay Jesus? Sometimes when we are not having a hard time we tend to forget him. he allows it so that we always reach him and to make our faith stronger.

i think the answer has to go beyond mere selfish reasons like "so i can become a better person" or "so i can be closer to God"... i think the answer to the question why "God allows pain" is that with the gift of freedom comes the necessary risks and evil associated with choice.

bottom line: talagang ganun ang buhay. Thanks be to God when he gives, thanks be to God when He takes away.

If there's no pain and there's only happiness, how would you know God?
Pain and sufferings result from being away and disobeying God.
But also, because we are in a fallen world, it's expected to experience those trials and sufferings.
If you have a relationship with Jesus Christ, you would know that we are not of this world and because we are not citizens of this world, it hates us (John 15:19).
But we know that we are not hopeless because Jesus died for us to have eternal life if we believe in Him(John 3:16). He came to this world, has been tempted, became hungry, thirsted. and by that, He knows what it feels like to suffer from this world. We are blessed that we can come to Him because He also has experienced great pain and has died on the cross for our sins. He feels for us.
Though there are times that we do not know why great tragedy happens, God still has a plan. His thoughts are far above our thought, His ways are not our ways. We just need to come to Him and trust with all our hearts coz He is a living,loving,mighty,all-powerful God.

God bless you. :D
