MatsuJun's Upcoming drama

To all Matsumoto Jun's fans out there..
He will have his new drama entitled "Smile"..
There he will play the role of Bito a half-Filipino whose father has died and mother has disappeared. Despite his misfortune and the issues he deals with, such as race, he lives his life positively with a constant smile. Similarly, Hana is a young woman living cheerfully despite losing her ability to speak due to an accident.

It will be air this coming April

Kyaaaaaaaaa---!!! I've read this on asianfanatics a few days to go. I'm so excited.  I hope the producers would be able to illuminate his being half-filipino in a good or eye-opening way. Nabasa ko rin na yung father niya yung pinoy so...ohwells.  Sana turuan siya ng tagalog words! That would be heaven. lol.

Yung ugali niya dito to be fair, talagang pinoy trait eh. yung ngumingiti na lang sa lahat ng problema sa buhay hahahaha.

I really really hope they'll have chemistry because they look good together. I'm a fan of Yui and Jun and it'll be great to see them onscreen as a love pair. I will be looking forward to this.

I really want to watch this, mostly because I'm curious about the half-Filipino/ half-Japanese portrayal. Kasi tulad ng sinabi ni nocturnal_penny, taboo sa mga Hapon ang half-Filipino.

And, there's Matsujun.
