Do you ever worry about getting old?

I just turning seventeen and right before my birthday, I just dreaded not being sixteen anymore. When you're sixteen and in college, people keep telling you "wow, ang bata bata mo pa!" and it feels good to hear that but they won't be saying that to me anymore. I'm seventeen and I'm old. What sucks more is that on my next birthday, I'll be eighteen and that is just really really sad.

So do you guys ever worry about getting old? And how old is old for you?

Yes, I do! Maybe it sounds funny for some people, but I do worry about getting old. I mean, I guess I wouldn't mind getting old physically, but I feel nervous with the changes that will happen along the way. I'm 20 already, and I almost dread turning 21 [or getting old for that matter] because it would mean that my parents and siblings would get old as well and the time will come wherein all of us will be too old/busy to spend time together, much less live in one house. It's crazy, but I love my family too much and I really enjoy being with them lol. I feel like a huge baby, but sometimes I couldn't help but think and worry about it. So yeah, sometimes I do worry.

Getting old and worrying about getting old are inescapable problems.

If I can't do anything about it, then why worry?

Resignation and acceptance of death is the best solution.

Well, I don't mind dying. It's the process of getting old that bugs me. I actually want to die young.

Kanina naisip ko rin yan ang worry ko naman kung ano ang bagong technology ang darating or kung anong klaseng generation ang magiging situation kapag old na tayo. Makakahabol pa ba kaya tayo? Magiging interesado pa rin ba tayo?

im not worried about getting old as long as i don't look that old.
sabi nga sa commercial.. "it's okay to be 40 just as long as you look 30"

Waa!.. Me too! I turned 18 na kasi last year so this year mag-19 na ako at konti nalang twenties na. Ayaw ko pa tumanda kasi gusto ko parin ng mga child stuffs like stuff toys, anime and cartoons. Enjoy ko manood ng disney channel saka animax   :okaysa yung american idol and other dramas and reality game shows.

Yup, yup. So much that when I was a kid, sometimes I wished I died real young. It's just that I'm too dependent on other people that I don't know how to take care of myself. I'm the kind of person that goes, "Whatever you say, sure," so this is really a problem for me.

No, I don't worry about getting old...but I do worry about the illnesses associated with growing old, like Alzheimer's disease or a family's late onset illness(which in my case is diabetes). These diseases can really create a hole in your financial pocket .
As for how old is old, others say it is a state of mind. I do believe that though. It's more important to add life to years rather than the other way around.

i don't feel i'm getting olderand i also don't care if i get older because it's natural.

yeah i do. a lot ! hay, parang kahapon lang 13yo ako, ngayon 17 na and malapit na mag debut. shocks !

nope. im worried about growing old na hindi happy though.
i mean, whether i like it or not tatanda naman talaga ako. takot lang ako na maging bitter while growing old or if old na ako mismo.

ako naman i just worry about yung looks ko.. age is not that a big deal for me... gusto ko lang mag age with grace.. yung kahit 50s or 60s  na ko, i still look good.. hehehe =)

I don't worry soo much about getting old, I mean, the thought of being a granny and being "done" with life is a nice thought as long as i'm not hooked on a machine or something and wrinkles are just, whatever, at least i know they're happy wrinkles

What worries me though about getting old is the responsibilities, making my own money, surviving without my parent's money.. that's what scares me.
