Yeah i saw the trailer months ago before twilight is being shown on screens.
It was hilarious though I haven't read the book itself. It is series too when I checked on a bookstore. I'm looking forward to it too. :)

The movie sucks. Well, based from what I've seen in the trailer. God, they changed the story e. From the setting, to the characters1 I mean come on, Luke Brandon as a "fashionista" guy? Argh.

I love Luke pa naman. He's like, the dream guy. haha. But I'm still going to watch the movie, sana maganda.

^I agree. As a movie, twilight wasn't bad- well, I don't know, but I watch movies as their own and not as a "book turned into motion". Doing so would just ruin the book as a book and the movie as a movie. I respect both. Haha.

Anyway, I loved the trailer. It's definitely not the same as the book - I mean, she's already in New York (which is the second book ba?). It's a New York fashion scene instead of a London scene- so I there's definitely a lot of changes.

I actually love movies like these better- they don't just rip off the author of the books. But I would still prefer the movie be in British- it just seems like a British Becky is more controversial than an American Becky. The latter seems to be a bit common na.

Didn't know the movie is based on this book. I'm only watching this because of Isla Fisher. Last time I saw her was on Definitely, Maybe and she was amazing and charming!

I haven't watched that movie yet. So I'm still not sure where I've seen her before this, I'm sure I've seen her face somewhere. I checked in imdb but it doesn't trigger anything. I'm sure it wasn't Scooby-Doo  as well. Hay

as first I thought Isla was Amy adams [enchanted]. LOL. Pretty much excited bout this movie, tho they've change the setting [London to NY], plus Luke pa. I hope ok siya.

I'm gonna watch this movie because:

1. I'm a big fan of Sophie Kinsella. Her books are fantastic and hilarious.

2. I love the trailer. Even if they changed the setting, personalities of the characters etc. Isla Fisher is pretty and charming!

and...

3. Patricia Field is the Costume Designer of this movie. She's also the Costume Designer of Sex And The City, The Devil Wears Prada and Ugly Betty (and she even has a clothing line with Marks & Spencer) so expect this movie to be fashionable and posh. I hope Becky Bloomwood's style here in the movie is effortless and not overdressed.

*And OK! Magazine Philippines Edition will have a Confessions of a Shopaholic Movie special on their February 2009 issue...exciting!

Isla Fisher is Sacha Baron Cohen's (Borat) girlfriend. They have a daughter together. haha. I agree, she does look like Amy Adams :)
