and it's back! Thanks to Jessan for reminding me about this.

Anyways for the newbies, we do this TeenTalk Awards thing yearly to give props to the TeenTalkers who inspired and helped us, touched our lives in their own simple way, and made a huge contribution for the TeenTalk community.

Starting today until December 31, 2008, you can now nominate a Teentalker for each category who deserves a title for this year. You can post the nominations here or send me a private message if you want it to be confidential.

For suggestions of new categories, feel free to post here.

The Categories:

Best Username
Teentalk Muse - prettiest or most beautiful inside and out
Teentalk Buddy - everybody's friend or bestfriend
Cutest Avatar - please don't change your avatar once you're nominated so that we can all judge it
Funniest Teentalker - not really a joker per se
Best Advice Giver
Best Creative Corner Story
Best Creative Corner Writer - most likely to be a great author
Most Articulate - someone who's comprehensible and expressive of his or her opinions.
Coolest Guy Teentalker - someone whom we could describe as a guy bestfriend or a kuya.
Most Inspiring - someone who has moved you, or inspired you in any aspect of your life
In" Teentalker - the one who's most updated in music, sports, TV, movies
Teentalker of the Year - the teentalker who made a lot of contributions in our online community

Nomination rules:
1. Everyone is allowed to join whether the Teentalker is a moderator or just a member.

2. One Teentalker per category only. For example, you voted Teentalker A in Cutest Avatar, you can't vote him/her anymore in another category to give chance to other Teentalkers. So choose wisely in nominating.

3. The nominee must be an active or semi-active Teentalker.

4. Five nominations makes the Teentalker an official nominee for a category.

5. If you're nominated BUT you are a consistent violator of the House Rules, I'm sorry to tell you that you'll be disqualified for the spot.


Voting will start on January 1, 2009.
