2nd Fall
Serene Cruz: NAKAKAINIS!





"And the winner of Miss Xavier School is... Candidate number... FOUR! Miss Serene Cruz!"




I heard the uproar of the crowd. I`m still a freshman and I won! Hindi ko alam kung paano nangyari `to!

"The 1st runner up is automatically Miss Charlotte Santos!"

Natalo ko si Charlotte - ang rumored crush ni Dae! YESSSSSSS~! May maipagyayabang ako laban sa kanya! May ipagmamayabang ako kay Dae!



*Nadapa*



"Ouch~"
"Buti nga sayo! Hindi ka naman karapat-dapat eh, you answered the questions in pilipino, hindi english! Ewan ko kung anong pinakain mo sa judges!" Charlotte whispered.

Ang sama talaga ng ugali niya! Maganda pa naman sana, at aamin akong masmakinis siya sa akin! Pero mas maganda parin ako...bleeeh! HAHAHAHA. >:D

Bumangon ako isinoot ang korona. Umalis naman agad ang bruha at nakita ko ring nawala si Dae. I was smiling a while ago, pero nang nakita kong nawala si Dae... I can`t help but think about things that I don`t want to discover... LIKE...

"Charlotte, okay lang yan!" Nakita kong yinayakap ni Dae si Charlotte. Nagtago ako.
"Akala ko kasi ako ang mananalo eh!" She cried and cried.



NAKUUU! Bruhildaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Nagpapacomfort ka pa kay Dae ha? At kinocomfort mo pa siya Dae? KAILAN MO BA TALAGA MATATANGGAP ANG KATOTOHANAN NA SA AKIN KA MAPUPUNTA!? :'(


"Hayaan mo na. Nagtagalog naman kasi siya eh, kaya ganun! At least english yung sagot mo! Alam mo naman yun, mejo bobo."



 >:(

ABAAAAAAAAAAAAH DAE! Ang kapal mo din?! Tinawag mo pa akong bobo? ARGH. I`m holding my breath as I hid myself. PERO, I just can`t hide my feelings!

"HOY Dae! Kapal mo ah? Di porke`t mahina ako sa math noon, mahina parin ako ngayon!" I showed myself.

Nabigla silang dalawa at mas lalong umiyak ang walang hiyang si Charlotte!

"Hoy Serene, wa`g ka ngang makinig sa mga pinag-uusapan ng ibang tao! Tsaka, math ba yung tinutukoy ko dito eh ENGLISH naman? Ibig sabihin lang nun, bobo ka in general!"
"Mas bobo ka kasi kinakampihan mo yang plastik na Charlotte na yan!"

Hikbi ng hikbi si Charlotte.



"Hoy plastik, wa`g ka ngang iyak ng iyak diyan-"
"Tama na nga yan, Serene!" Hinawakan ni Dae ang kamay ni Charlotte at mukhang magwo-walk out na silang dalawa.
"Kala mo naman boyfriend mo siya, Charlotte! YUCCCCKKK~! Asa ka!" >:(
"Serene, tama na sabi eh!" Nanlilisik na ang mga mata ni Dae ngayon.

Tumahimik ako at linapitan niya ako. Nakita ko si Sophie, papalapit sa amin at mukhang naramdaman at nahulaan niya kung ano ang nangyayari.

Mas lalong lumapit si Dae kaya napa atras ako. ATRAS... Hanggang sa napasandal ako.

"Serene, tama na. Wa`g ka ng magpapansin sa akin."









I looked at his eyes and he was serious.


 >:(






"Hindi naman ako nagpapapansin eh! Sinasabi ko lang naman ang---"
"TAMA NA SABI EH!"

My tears began to form.

"Bakit ba? Girlfriend mo ba siya?"
"Hindi... HINDI PA! Kaya tumahimik ka na lang diyan kasi nasasaktan na siya!!!"

Umulan na ang luha ko.

"Tumahimik ka na lang dahil sinasaktan mo rin ako!" Tinalikuran niya ako at hinawakan ulit ang kamay ni Charlotte, sabay silang naglakad papalayo sa akin at linampasan si Sophie.

Tumakbo si Sophie sa akin nang nakita niyang umiiyak na ako.

"ANG PLASTIK NG BABAENG YUN!! ANG PLASTIK-PLASTIK NIYA TALAGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! NAKAKAINIS!"

Sophie hugged me. Napadaan si Mina at Chyna sa amin at nakiusisa, simula noon naging kaibigan na rin namin silang dalawa.
