I watched it last night and it was okay. I mean, as a hard-core fan of the book, I expected a lot from the movie. So yeah, I was disappointed. I guess if I didn't read the book I would've liked it very much.

Oh, and I found it weird that Becky's parents seemed... young. Wala lang, I imagined them a bit older e. But Isla was great, although some scenes in the movie was too OA for me. I liked Luke though, he gets hotter and hotter as the movie progresses!

Yun agad napansin ko, ang gwapo ni Tarquin. I'm expecting na weirdo sya and all. Ala-suze. Then Derek Smeath for me was inspector-gadget-like. HAHA. I'm expecting a hot one actually. The professional-i'm-a-bank-manager-look. And Alicia !@#$-longlegs fits my imagination. HAHA. The hair, ganun din naiimagine ko habang nagbababasa. Though may pagka-class yung itchura na ineexpect ko.. Yeah, it is a GOOD movie. Really hilarious. And the non-readers would appreciate it really. But for me, tsss. Kaka-disappoint. Though na-enjoy ko naman yung movie.  Umpisa palag kase, iba na. Nung nag-apply sya for Luke. Sa book, may Brandon Comms na kase and all. O well. What's the point of this? HAHA.

The movie's good and super hilarious. That's it. YAY.

Isla Fisher told me on twitter that there might be a Shopaholic sequel but it's still in talks. I hope this sequel won't disappoint me like the first one. Though I agree with HatingLife, non-readers might give this movie a thumbs up. Ngayon pa lang excited na ako sa sequel.

^ Really? I haven't read Can You Keep a Secret? because when I borrowed that book, I was reading Shopaholic Ties the Knot (and so, my attention got into the Shopaholic Series). xD

Well, as for me, I saw the movie first before reading the book. So parang ako, wow, Confessions of a Shopaholic! Luke Brandon / Hugh Dancy really matches Becky Bloomwood / Isla Fisher! <3 They're a great couple.

Mukhang malabo na magka-sequel sis. Kasi reformed shopaholic na si Becky sa ending credits diba? Sayang nga eh. Ganda pa naman sanang gawing movie Shopaholic Ties the Knot chaka Shopaholic and Baby.

Agreed. Merong parts sa ibang shopaholic books na andun sa movie. (: (hindi ko lang matandaan kung anu-ano 'yun) xD
