Why is it that the Evangelicals presume that they themselves are the only chosen people, and they say that theirs is the only true interpretation of the Bible, when their "founder", Martin Luther, only sought reform within the Catholic Church and not a schism.

Everyone can be saved. It's a matter of faith in Jesus Christ and having salvation in your heart. We can know where we are heading to after we die, because it is stated in the Bible that God promised eternal life in heaven for those who believes in Him. So believe, and then you're saved.

Please don't diss born agains. Respect each one's religion and beliefs. As much as possible we don't want to argue regarding this, because all we want to do is share what we know to others, for we believe that what we know is the truth. We're not telling you that we are God. We're telling you what God said in the Bible.

And, it's not true that what our pastors feed us is all that we know. We read the Bible ourselves. We talk to God ourselves through prayer.

To them its less about doctrine and philosophy, and more on emotional highs.

That is not true. Everything we know is based on the Bible. How can you say that our doctrine is created "on the fly" if you haven't experienced being a born again?
