not necessarily. there are differences among (1) thinking, (2)desiring and (3) doing

if you're thinking of sex, like any other human being does, then you can be sure it's just fine.

 after all, we humans are supposed to think about human stuff right? 

even if you desire sex, there are cases when you can still not-sin while desiring it, such as when passions extremely arouse you.

passions are involuntary human actions, and therefore, you can't be held responsible for something you did not start.

let me go on. even if you're already doing it, there are instances when you can still be spared from sinning, such as when you're married or when you're raped or when you're under any circumstance where you are not granted the full use of your reason.

sin happens when you completely give-in or when you consciously and deliberately permit it to be done

I remember lang kase one incident during one of our theo class and our professor back then was an ex seminarian and suddenly during the heated discussion of pre-marital sex and sin, one of my classmate ask him this question "sir nung seminarista ho ba kayo nagma-masturbate kayo?" grabe tumahamik buong klase. Babae pa nagtanong nun ha. My prof was caught off guard there was a moment of silence then sabi niya, "yes, because I'm just human." So there.

yes. foreplay is a sin. it's a compromise between sex and abstinence and it's giving in to lustful desires. and i've been guilty of this before...hoping to never ever be again (til marriage, of course).
