Milliardo, most of the "Born Again" people know only what is spoonfed to them by their pastors, and even then, it is given as intepreted by that pastor.

On the contrary, early Christianity was very much alive because of the debates waged on such issues as the nature of Christ, among others. As for this, isn't it that Evangelicals are fond of lambasting those that don't believe as they do, especially targeting Catholics? 7-8 years of online Apologetics has shown this.
