Introduction

Excited nang makita ni Kahlil si Rob. He's her boyfriend. Three days kasi siyang di nakapasok sa school because she got sick. When she entered the campus, agad niya itong hinanap sa tambayan nila. But he's not there. For the past three days, he had called her only once that's why she wants to see him na. She's walking along the hallway when she finally saw him. Super saya niya nang makita ito pero nawala din agad yun when she saw him with another girl. That's not just it. Rob's actually kissing the girl!!!
Aba!Ang kumag na to!Sandali lang ako nawala tapos nambabae na!

Agad kumulo ang dugo niya. No guy had ever done that to her!And to think that she trusted him a lot!God!
Balak na sana niyang sugurin ang mga ito nang mula sa kung saan ay may biglang nagsalita.[/color]
" Mas magmumukha kang kawawa pag sinugod mo sila."She instantly turned around to see who's the owner of that voice.
He was lazily smiling at her while sitting on the corridor window.
He's the famous Julian Mendrez, the Campus Sex God.


And why would a certified Sex God sit on the corridor window?What is he doing in there?

Kung ibang babae siguro, kanina pa nakipag-flirt kay Julian...pero hindi siya ibang babae at wala siyang panahong makipag-flirt dito.
She made a frown in front of him.[/color]" So, you're staring. It's not your business,ok? So please, wag kang makialam." mataray niyang sabi.In her state right now(because her boyfriend is cheating on her), mabubulyawan kahi sino.
" Hey Miss, I'm just giving you a piece of advice." Julian said.
" Wag ka ngang makialam sabi eh!"Natatawang itinaas ni Julian ang mga kamay as if he's surrendering.[/color]" Whoah, I cannot believe na nakatagpo ako ng lion this morning."
Mabuti na lang at nakapagtimpi siya. She really want to slap him straight to his face.EPAL TALAGA! Tatalikod na sana siya when he spoke again." Ditch him. He's a loser. But don't confront them now coz you will look so pathetic. Say..maybe this afternoon..show that guy that you can dump him like a hot potato." he said.She clearly heard everything he said. Yeah, he's soo right. Kung susugurin niya si Rob and that !@#$ sya pa ang lalabas na loser..hmm..she was enlightened by this man.
" Hey..also, don't forget..I'm available anytime. I can replace your loser boyfriend. Just find me anywhere. I'm always around..well, if you want me, don't be hesitant to say it. I'll indulge you."nakakalokong sabi ni Julian.
I felt my face turned red. My God, he's very conceited..antipatikong lalaking 'to...[/color]"FYI, I don't want another loser like you..just live on with that!" inis na inis nyang sabi then tinalikuran nya ito.
Halos lahat yata ng inis nya na para kay Rob ay nalipat sa mayabang na Julian na yun. Masyado itong presko...haler?!It's as if he's the most gorgeous man on earth!

But well,he's really gorgeous that's why he's been entitled as the Sex God since forever.
A while ago, kung hindi siguro siya galit na galit sa ginawa ni Rob, maybe she will admire his charm. Well yeah,he's a charmer from head to toe. He has many girls on his side and even though she doesn't know him personally, she knew that he's counting girlfriends on his fingers. And that what she hates in a man..yun bang papalit-palit ng girlfriends for the sake of popularity and treating girls as only a decoration in their lives(katulad ng ginawa ng hudas na Rob na yun)...guys like that really suck...they don't deserve good and lovable girls.
And that Julian, even if he's tall, manly and so very hunk all over, his attitude was really a turn off to her. She doesn't like his pick of words and sexy stares. Nakakabastos lang kasi.
Ka-batch nya si Julian but he's two years older. Since first year college, super sikat na ni Julian.He's not the starplayer of the basketball team. He's not a dean's lister either. And he's definitely not the president of the Student Government. But..he's actually the leader of the famous fraternity in their school. Guys are afraid of him but girls swoon over him. And based on some rumors, he's using drugs daw and he's a chain smoker..pero for her, he's really soo mysterious. Inaamin nyang nakakafeel din sya ng fear whenever she sees him around.
She's such a sucker for good guys. She have always wanted a refined guy for a boyfriend..but it's obvious na nagkamali sya coz wala pala kay Rob ang mga traits na hinahanap nya. Rob is a certified jerk, a pig, a bastard rolled into one...haay buhay..when will she find the right guy for her?Never na ba?Wag naman sana...

He wanted a man like her Dad,even if her father was not a model father(no time for her and her Mom--always in the office, signing those papers to secure a big deal). Uuwi lang ito kapag gabing-gabi na then, aalis naman nang maaga. Her Mom on the other hand, was busy with her vice. She always go to casinos with friends.
Heavens, have they already forgotten that they have a daughter?!
At an early age, Kahlil became an independent person...everyday, she would eat at the dining table alone..with only her yaya, Manang Elay, to accompany her..her yaya became a second mother to her. Sure, she lived a normal life. But somehow, she found it so abnormal..but that's life..nasanay na siya..
The only thing she can be proud of is her independence. She's brave to do anything..at walang sinumang Adan ang pwedeng tumapak sa kanya...well, she'll kick their asses if they do..away kung away...just like what Rob did to her. She's going to make some sweet revenge later...

The So-Called Sweet Revenge
Kahlil is currently leaning on Rob's car. She's actually waiting for him. Alam nyang magugulat talaga si Rob once na makita siya because she texted him earlier and said that she's still home at nagpapagaling.
Huh,for sure masayang-masaya ang ungas...He's free na makasama ang babaeng yun.Well, let's just see what's gonna happen later.

Then, napatingin si Kahlil sa black car na katabi lang ng car ni Rob.Tinted ang mirror nun. She instantly saw her reflection. She fixed her hair at ngumiti nang makahulugan. She even pouted her lips in front of the mirror and raised a brow.
"Hmm, I'm not the loser afterall."
She stood straight and folded her arms. She searched the place...lokng for Rob.
Several minutes later, Kahlil finally saw Rob akbay pa ang babae nito. They looked happy..well, tingnan lang natin...
When Rob saw her, it's like he had seen a ghost.
Kahlil gave a smile (nakakatakot na smile)
"Hi, Rob sweetie. Long time no see ah." Kahlil said.
"K-Kahlil...w-what are you d-doing here?" he automatically put away his arm from the girl.
"Wala lang..I feel okay now..mukhang nag-eenjoy yata kayo ng kasama mo ah,hmm?"makahulugang sabi ni Kahlil. Her smile was still there.
She walked closer to Rob who at that moment was soo pale.

"L-let me e-explain,baby." he stuttered.
" Rob, who's she?" at nagawa pa iyong itanong ng babaeng kasama niya. Well, she focused her attention to the girl.

"Oh, hi there!Are you Rob's fling?" Kahlil said mocking the girl.
"What?!I'm his girlfriend!" the girl said.
She raised her left brow.Oh really?

"Oh yeah,yeah..You're his girlfriend? FYI, I'm the original,gurl..Maybe you're his number two or three or..err..whatever. But by the way, it's so very nice to see you." Kahlil said at inilahad pa ang isa nyang kamay.

The girl was in shocked. Oh, she can't believe na marami pala kami sa life ng Rob na to!

"Hey, you look surprised. Didn't you know na marami tayo?" Kahlil said innocently.
The girl's eyes were getting so big,it's as if her eyeballs are going to pop out from her eyes.The girl turned to Rob.

"Manloloko ka!You said ako lang!I hate you!!!" galit na sabi ni girl and ran away very fast.

Kahlil laughed like she won something.

"Mitch, wait!" tawag ni Rob kay girl pero nakaalis na ito.
Laglag ang mga balikat na humarap si Rob sa kanya.

"Ano ka ngayon Rob?" sabi nya.
" I never thought that you could be a !@#$, Kahlil."
" I can be a !@#$ whenever and wherever, Rob."
" You fooled me. Sabi mo nasa bahay ka."
"Huh,look who's talking now!You're the one who fooled me. Bagay lang sa yo yan.You know, you have no balls. You're such a loser." she said and walked closer to him. Then, she whispered something in his ear."Know what, you're such a stupid guy. Nobody will dare to love you dahil sa mga ginagawa mo. You're a loser Rob..a loser..."

And in one swift move, she kicked his front. His eyes wide in shock habang sapo niya ang hinaharap.(That really hurts)
"Oh my God, Kahlil!!"
She laughed loudly."Bagay lang talaga sa yo yan.Buti nga!"
Hindi talaga makasagot si Rob dahil sa sakit.

"Hoy Rob, break na tayo!Tingnan lang natin kung makakapag-perform ka pa dahil sa ginawa ko sayo!" sabi nya na parang lukaret na tawa nang tawa.

Rob got inside his car in an instant at nagmamadaling pinatakbo ang kotse. Naiwan si Kahlil doon na tawa pa rin nang tawa. Napasandal sya sa black car na katabi nya. She's sooo happy. She proved her worth. She proved how far she can do to protect her pride.
Then, natigil lamang sya sa pagtawa when she saw na bumababa ang bintana sa may driver's seat ng sasakyan. Dear god,there's someone in there. Nakita ba nito ang ginawa nya???Umalis sya sa pagkakasandal sa car.
The, she saw that someone.

"Hello again, sweetheart."
Her eyes grew wide nang makilala ito(isama na pati butas ng ilong)

OMG, si JULIAN!!!

"What are you doing here!!" that's actually her instant reaction.
"Just chillin inside my car." he said putting his arms under his head, leaning on the car seat.
"You heard everything, don't you?" kinakabahang tanong ni Kahlil.
"Yeah..everything, I guess. Pero hindi ko naman sinasadya. It so happen na magkatabi ang kotse namin ng boyfriend mo."
" How dare you..." hindi nya madugtungan and sinasabi dahil wala syang maisip na idugtong.

"Soo..you dumped your boyfriend already...I mean ex-boyfriend...in a very..err..unique manner. I like it, sweetheart."
"So what huh? And for heaven's sake,don't call me sweetheart. I'm not your sweetheart at all."
"But you would be. Remember our agreement?"
"Agreement?"
"You have forgotten already. Remember, we've agreed that after you ditch your boyfriend...I'll replace him. Don't worry sweetheart, I have balls like a real guy." he said and smiled sweetly.
"Kilabutan ka nga sa mga pinagsasabi mo. FYI, hindi kita kilala. Kaya pwede lang, tigilan mo ko." sabi niya na nagsimula na namang mainis.
"Hey...hey...be cool. I'm a great lover than that ex of yours.Wanna try me?"
"Try you?Arrgghh....like I will. I don't need another guy in my life. Magsama-sama na lang kayo lahat!!!And if you want, you can go to hell with Roby." she said at mabilis na iniwan si Julian na hindi pa rin maalis ang ngiti.

Si Ms. Hard-To-Get

Naiwang nakangiti si Julian.
Another encounter with Ms. Hard-to-Get. Iyon ang naging palayaw nya sa cute na babae. Yeah, cute...that was the right term because she stood more or less 5'2 or 5'3. Too small for his taste...but heavens, she has all the curves in the right places..so damn sexy...nakalugay ang mahaba at medyo kulot nitong buhok na dark brown ang kulay.
Sha has the sex appeal. Kahit sinong lalaki mababaliw sa babaeng yun. And a while ago while he's staring at her, he can't help but notice her coal-black eyes, upturned nose and her sensual lips which he thinks was very unlikely for a small lady like her...she's just soo alluring in his eyes..well, sa kabila ng pagiging maliit nito, she has a very striking personality. She's tough and carry herself with great confidence...and yeah, she's brave enough to face her loser boyfriend..bihira talga ang mga tulad nitong babae.
That's why, he wants to grab the chance to be with her..kanina nung tumingin ito sa window ng car nya, he thought she saw him. Iyon pala, ginawa lang nitong mirror ang window ng car nya..and at that very moment, he really wanted to grab and kiss her...(mabilis mag-isip tong si Julian )
And when he accidentally heard the conversation of the three people earlier, he heard that 'Kahlil' was her name..it suits her...
Ba't ba ngayon lang niya napansin ang babaeng yun sa loob ng three years na pag-stay nya sa university.Where is she all those years?Hay...kung alam lang niya na merong isang Kahlil sa school, malamang girlfriend na nya ito ngayon..hmm.. that thought made him smile...oh well,now that he knew her already, he'll find a way to see her again. He's crazy about that girl...and he's determine to make her his...yeah...one of these days...


Pagod na humiga si Kahlil sa bed nya..oh well, talaga namang tiring ang day na yun. Nakipagbreak siya kanina kay Rob isama pa ang two encounters niya with Julian, the Sex God. Napatingin sya sa drawer at umasim talaga ang face nya nang makita dun ang pic nila ni Rob ng magkayakap. Inis na kinuha niya yun at inalis sa frame saka mabilis na nilamukos at tinapon na lang sa kung saan..iyon lamag ang nababagay dun. Trash. Walang kwenta. Humiga ulit siya..looked at the ceiling and heaved a sigh..wala talaga syang nafifeel na sadness or panghihinayang sa break-up nila ni Rob. Mas matimbang ang galit. Inis na inis talaga siya rito. Next time she would see him, baka mas malala pa ang magawa niya.

Then suddenly,bigla nyang naisip si Julian. She doesn't know why her heart skipped a bit. Maybe because he's so damn gorgeous. Kahit simpleng T-shirt lang and pants, lutang pa rin si Julian from others...and another thing is that, naiilang talaga siya sa mga titig nito. It's like he's looking in her soul..his stares always speak of something...
....she really likes his thick black hair.It looks so smooth and silky...and then she like his lips...
argh..what's happening to her??? Pinukpok niya ang noo nang paulit-ulit.

Hindi nya ito kilala ng personal. Ang alam lang nya,supah famous ito. Pantasya si Julian ng mga kolehiyala, hindi lang sa school nila but outside the campus, too. She's a nobody compared to his women.

Ang mabuti pa, itutulog na lang niya ito...HAAY...
 


Kahlil is eating alone inside the cafeteria. Meron naman siyang bestfriend kaya lang nag-migrate na ang family nila Cindy sa Canada last sem pa. May mga kasundo naman siya sa mga classmates nya pero hanggang doon lang yun. She's kind of reserved and only wanted to be with her bestfriend. Mula pa high school ay kasama na niya ito that's why she's really hurt when she went away. Si Cindy lang ang nakakaalam pag sinusumpong sya ng toyo. Well, ayos lang sa kanyang mag-isa. Sanay na nga di ba siya. That's just the same scenario at home..so, it's definitely fine with her.
But without her knowing,there's a pair of eyes staring from afar, following her every move...

Titig na titig si Julian kay Kahlil.
Kanina pa sya dun..sinusundan at binabantayan ang mga kilos ni Kahlil. For sure, hindi sya agad mapapansin nito because he's wearing a cap at nasa pinakatagong table sya inside the cafeteria.
"Tol, dito ba tayo kakain ha? Ito yata ang unang beses na nakita kitang tumapak dito." sabi ni Bogz na katabi ni Julian. Kabarkada niya ito at ka-frat din.

"I'm just following someone." he said and drank from his coke-in-can.
"Well, I'm pretty sure it's a girl, pare." sabi naman ni Danes.
Julian just smiled and stared again at Kahlil.

Apat silang magkakasam. Si Danes, Bogz, Gil and him. He's the current leader of the frat. Actually, hindi naman sila nagagawi sa cafeteria dahil may sarili silang tambayan.But because of Kahlil, nandun sila.
"Oi, dito muna kayo...puntahan ko lang.." sabi ni Julian pagkuwa'y tumayo para lapitan si Kahlil.

NATIGILAN si Kahlil when she saw Julian standing right in front of her.

"Hi, sweetheart." he said sweetly.
Napalingon siya sa paligid nya. Ilan sa mga kumakain doon ay patingin-tingin sa gawi nila.

"A-anong ginagawa mo rito?" she asked,medyo naiilang.
"I just passed by, then I saw you...what a coincidence..."

Hindi sya naniniwala sa sinasabi nito. Ni minsan ay hindi nya maiisip na maliligaw ito sa lugar na yun. Of course, may sariling tambayan sina Julian.
" I d-don't believe you." sabi ni Kahlil na walang kangiti-ngiti.
"..Well...maniniwala ka na siguro kung sasabihin kong ikaw talaga ang dahilan kung bakit ako nandito,hmm?"
She met his stare. Iyon na naman ang super lalim-tagos kaluluwang titig nito.
"H-hindi pa rin."
Tapos, walang paalam na bigla na lang itong umupo sa harap niya. Now, they were face to face...closer this time...
" Believe what you want pero iyon ang totoo. I'm here para tuparin ang agreement nating dalawa."
"Wala tayong napg-usapan, okay? Hindi kita kilala."

"Well then, I'm Julian. I know your name already. Kahlil right?"
She didn't answer. Inismiran lang nya to. Julian laughed.
"Ba't ba ang sungit mo ha?"
"Wla kang pakialam."mataray nyang sabi.
"Your face doesn't match your attitude. Alam mo bang ikaw pa lang ang babaeng kilala ko na sobrang taray."
"Pwes, ibahin mo ko. I'm not one of those girls who would swoon over you."
"It's not what I meant actually. Are you mad now at guys because your ex cheated on you?"
 Tinaasan nya ito ng kilay.
"Wla akong balak sagutin ang tanong mo."
"Why?"
"Bacause I don't want to! At pwede ba, sa ibang table ka na lang makishare because I really don't want to share a table with you...ayokong mapg-usapan sa school."
"Hmm...so very straightforward.I like that, sweetheart."
" I'm sorry to say this but I don't commit myself to strangers." sabi ni Kahlil at mabilis na tumayo.
" I'm not going to be a stranger anymore. Just let me in."
"Ang kulit mo!!!" naiinis nyang sabi pagkatapos ay patakbong umalis sa cafeteria.

Agad namang nakasunod sa kanya si Julian.
Mabilis ang mga kilos ni Kahlil sa pagpunta sa parking at hinanap ang car nya. Mabilis nyang kinuha sa bag ang car keys. But when she was about to unlock the car, pinigilan siya ng braso ni Julian.
"Not so fast, sweetheart."
"Let go of my arm!"
"Ayoko. Kausapin mo muna ako nang maayos!"
"Ano ba ang dapat nating pag-usapan?!"
"About us, sweetheart."
"Us?!What the hell are you talking about?"
"Yung usapan natin. Wla na ang magaling mong ex, so I'm going to replace him."
"Are you insane?!We don't know each other so well..we're strangers!!!"
"Well, not anymore...I knew you already."
"Nababaliw ka na!"

Julian held her shoulders firmly.
"Kung hindi kita kayang daanin sa santong dasalan, dadaanin kita sa santong paspasan."
Then his hands tighten. Before she knew it, his lips were pressed against hers.
OMG, he's kissing her!!!
She was really stunned.She was shocked. No man had ever to that to her!ung bigla na lang siyang hinalikan...
She was looking at him. His eyes were still closed, as if he's putting so much effort for her to enjoy the kiss. Then, his arms went around her waist, drawing her closer.

teka...teka...parang nagugustuhan yata niya ang halik ni Julian...
after a while, he released her...
"So I supposed, after the kiss...we're not strangers anymore,are we? Strangers don't kiss."
Hindi naman makasagot si Kahlil at namumula siya sa kahihiyan...oh god...oh god...

He touched her chin using his thumb and forefinger.
"Hmm...so are you my girlfriend now?"
"Not that easy, Julian. If you want me, then it's up to you to do the traditional way. I'm not an easy chick like you think." sagot niya na tuluyang nabuksan ang door ng car. Kahlil gets inside at pinaandar na yun.

Julian was left there..
"I'm starting to experience hell for the first time. This is going to be a major problem of mine..." he said to himself.

Pero maya-maya, napalakas ang bulong niya,
"Teka,pano ba manligaw?"

He sighed deeply...

Memory of the Kiss

One week after that kissed,sobrang affected pa rin si Kahlil. She's very thankful dahil hindi nagkrus ang landas nila ni Julian sa loob ng one week na yun. She doesn't know what to do if she would see him again. Until now naiinis pa rin siya because she responded to his kiss. He's not even her boyfriend! Naku,grabe na tlaga ito!

But well, in fairness...he's a good kisser. He can kiss a hundred of girls if he wants to. At nung halikan sya ni Julian, she felt something strange. That the kiss they shared was not just a mere kiss but there was something more to it. She really can't explain it. It happened so fast. Haay...She felt so weird...

One time, inaayos nya ang loob ng locker nya. When she's finally finished, she locked it and turned around. Pero sa pagtalikod nya, nagulat pa siya dahil nakatayo sa harap niya si Julian.
"Hi sweetheart...how have you been after the kiss?" he asked.
Wala man lang anumang intro. He hit the point already.
"I don't know." walang emosyong sagot ni Kahlil.
"What? I mean you don't know what you feel?"
"Julian, it's just a kiss okay. Nagagawa mo yun sa iba and it so happen na ginawa mo yun sa kin."
He frowned.
"Pinabababa mo ang sarili mo ng ganyan? That kiss we shared was sometihng special. There's a spark between us and please don't ever try to deny it." he even said."

"I don't believe in sparks or whatsoever. Just find another girl to play around. For sure, maraming pipila."
" So, ang akala mo laru-laro lang ang lahat?"
"Hindi ba?"
Julian never uttered a word. She smirked.
" O kita mo na..I'm right afterall. You're just playing around with me--" nahinto ang iba pang sasabihin ni Kahlil when Julian bring out a bouquet of flowers sa likod nito.

"For you." JUlian said and gave her the flowers.
Tinanggap niya yun and just said Thank You.

" Red roses suits you because red is the color of eternal beauty...just like yours...it never fades away..." Julian said and smiled vey sweetly.

Kahlil was speechless for a while. She never thought that the likes of him could be so damn romantic. Ibang-iba ang ipinapakita nito ngayon sa pagkakakilala nya rito.

"J-Julian.."
"You know, I'm not used to court girls...it's the truth. They use to court me and hinahayaan ko lang...so forgive me if my pick-up lines are somewhat corny or nonsense."

She wanted to say that it's not corny at all. The truth is, his chosen words were the most romantic thing she'd ever heard in her entire life. He's very spontaneous about what he feels.

"I really like you Kahlil from the very first moment that I saw you." Julian said with sincerity.
"But words aren't enough, Julian. I don't wanna engage myself to another relationship which I know wouldn't lasts. Yeah...you like me now..but how about tomorrow or the next day? For sure, you'll like somebody else and that's another story again." she explained.

"How can you be so sure about that? I know myself more than you. And this time, I know for myself what I feel about you."
Kahlil sighed.
"I don't know, Julian..."
"Just say yes and I promise to be a good boyfriend."

She started to become so irritated. Ang pinakaayaw nya sa lahat ay ung kinukulit! Hanep naman tong JUlian na to,parang hangin sa bilis!!! Hindi marunong manligaw!

"Know what, I'm getting tired of this conversation. Ang ayoko sa lahat yung kinukulit ako sa bagay na ayoko. Dyan ka na nga!" Kahlil said at nilagpasan si Julian.
"Kahlil, wait!"

Pero hindi na tinangkang habulin ni Julian si Kahlil. He was being rejected again but there's a smile playing on his lips. Hmm...well afterall she accepted his flowers so there's still hope between them.

HINDI maiwasan ni Kahlil na mapangiti while she's staring at the flowers given by Julian. She's currently standing near the corridor window sa may building ng department nila. Kahit naman papano ay super kinilig siya sa ginawa ni Julian. She can't believe talaga na magkakagusto ito sa kanya...so many girls,bakit sya??

"Hi Kahlil!"
Napalingon sya sa tumawag sa kanya. Si Catie. Classmate nya to sa isa sa mga subjects.
Kahlil smiled at ther.
"Hello Catie."
"How are you today?" Catie asked.
"I'm okay.You?"
"Definitely fine..hmm...ganda namn ng mga flowers.Boyfriend mo nagbigay?"
"Nah. I don't have a boyfriend."
"Well, manliligaw?"
Kahlil laughed and thought shortly of Julian.

"Ah, Kahlil, I wanna invite you to my party this coming Saturday."
"Birthday mo?"
"Yeah...Well, I think you're one of the coolest classmates I have and I wanna spend sometime with you. And I think this event would be perfect."
"Ganun ba?hehe...sige,punta ko sa birthday mo."

"Asahan kita Kahlil sa Sat. Wear anything you want. It will be held sa Paradis...sa resto bar namin." sabi ni Catie at binigay sa kanya ang address.

Catie's Party

Kahlil was wearing a simple black tee and denim skirt na above the knee ang haba. She wore Chuck Taylor's to match her outfit. She moved with ease and confidence. She brought her car to the place. Pagdating nya sa resto bar, marami ng tao inside. Then, she instantly saw Catie. Nilapitan nya ito at binati. She gave Catie her gift.

"I'm glad you came, Kahlil." tuwang sabi nito.
"Your party is cool, Catie."
"Enjoy yourself, Kahlil!"
Catie left her for a while para i-welcome ang ibang guests.

She roamed her eyes around. Kaunti lang ang pamilyar na mga mukha sa kanya. She noticed that all the guests came from well-off families. Dim ang mga lights sa loob ng bar.
A music was currently played. It was a rock song performed by a rock band sa built-in stage na naron. And almost all Catie's guests were guys. Ang iba sa mga ito ay nakikta nya sa loob ng campus. Nagpunta sya sa bartender at um-order ng wine. She sat on the stool. Itinuod nya ang magkabilang braso sa mahabang counter sa likod nya. People were enjoying the party. Some of them were dancing and laughing with each other. Then, one particular thing caught her attention. A few meters away from her, sa katapatan nyang table...naron si Julian with a girl na nakapulupot ang mga braso dito. Namumukhaan nya ung babae...
...wait...iyon ang babaeng kasama ni Rob dati. The girl whose name is Mitch. Kahlil raised a brow. So, ito ang date ni Julian for the night. At halos mapaniwala siya nito na he's really serious about her. What a liar. At ang pinakanakakainis pa, pinatulan nito ang fling ng ex nya.
Huh, pare-pareho talaga ang mga lalaki. Paglalaruan nila ang mga girls kahit kelan nila gustuhin.
Then, napatingin sa gawi nya si Julian. At first, he looked surprised na makita sya roon. Then afterwards, he lift his hand with the wine glass he's holding (which is a sign of toast) and smiled sweetly at her.
Well, she smiled back, sarcastically..kumag ka..
Tumalikod siya dito ng upo. Nasa harap na nya ang red wine na inorder nya a while ago. She was about to drink from her glass nang may magsalita sa likuran nya.

"What a small world, sweetheart. Gusto ko tuloy isipin na sinusundan mo ko."
Of course, alam niyang si Julian ang nagsalita.
Tumuwid sya ng upo para lang mabangga sa likod nito. It was really a wrong move. Itinukod ni Julian ang magkabila nitong kamay sa counter kaya wala syang nagawa at napasandal lang sa dibdib nito.

"Julian..."

"So, are you gonna say yes to me now,hmm?"malambing pa nitong tanong.
OMG, she could really feel his breath on her neck and it made her shiver.

"The answer is still no at hindi kita sinusundan." Kahlil said.
JUlian laughed, nakakainlove na tawa. It was really obvious that he's seducing her. Inikot ni Julian ang stool na kinauupuan nya that's why napaharap sya rito. Their eyes met...matagal...

"Are you sure sweetheart?"
"Of course.Now, go back to your girlfriend." sabi ni Kahlil. Hindi nya nagawang itago ang inis.
Ngumiti naman tong Julian na to. His face was just a few inches above hers.
"She's not my girlfriend. At hindi ako pumapatol sa pinagsawaan ng iba, sa pinagsawaan ng ex mo."
"Oh sure, don't give me that crap, Julian. I'm not blind."
"Why sweetheart!You're jealous."
"I'm not!!!"
"It's obvious that you are." he said as he touched her chin. OMG, he's about to kiss her.

"You said a while ago na hindi ka pumapatol sa pinagsawaan ng iba. Ako, hindi ba't pinagsawaan na rin ako ng iba?" she's challenging him.
Automatically, he let go of her. Alam nyang naapektuhan si Julian sa sinabi nya. Bacause of that, parang gusto nyang ngumiti. But then, his emotion easily changed. He smiled again sooo sweetly.
"Nice try, sweetheart. But I don't believe you. You want proof,huh?"
Hindi na sya nakasagot because he kissed her already. After a couple of seconds, he released her.

"Now what sweetheart? Masasabi mo bang pinagsawaan ka na ng iba kung halik nga lang, di ka sanay.."
"Stop it!!!You are embarassing me!" sabi ni Kahlil at hindi makatingin ng tuwid kay Julian.
JUlian sighed.
"Hey, don't control your feelings. I know you like me, too."
Tinulak niya si Julian.
"Pabayaan mo na ko."
"Not that easy..aminin mo na kasi na kaya ka nandito ay dahil sa kin." mayabang nitong sabi.
"How dare you!!!"she said with irritation.

Natigil lamang sila when Catie came.
"O, nandito lang pala kayong dalawa...I bet, magkakilala na kayo!" Catie smiled.
"Catie, we're schoolmates remember?" Julian said.
"Pero di ko akalaing magkakilala kayo ng personal ni Kahlil."

Julian frowned.
"So you knew Kahlil?"he asked Catie.
"Obvious ba? Classmate ko sya kaya natural na invited sya sa party ko!"
Julian looked at Kahlil. Iwas naman sya ng tingin kay Julian.

" Kahlil, di ba sabi ko ipapakilala ko sa yo yung gwapo kong pinsan. Well, nasa harap mo na sya ngayon. Meet Kuya Julian, the most famous guy in the campus."

WHAAAAT??!!!!

"Ha?Siya ang kuya mo?"
"Yup. Hehe..magkakilala na kayo diba pero I bet na hindi mo alam na sya ang magaling kong pinsan. Only few of our friends knew about that."

"Catie, you didn't tell me that the girl you want me to meet is Kahlil."
"Kuya naman, hindi na surprise yun pag ganun."
"yeah, whatever." Julian said as he rolled his eyeballs.

"Oh well, hinanap ko lang naman kayo para introduce to each other pero magkakilala na pla kayo. Soo, I'll leave you two for a while. Enjoy yourselves!!!"
Muling naiwan sina Julian at Kahlil.

"I'm sorry."Julian said.
"For what?"
"I thought you were following me and you're just faking your anger...that you also liked me from the very start."
"Huh? That's so conceited of you."
"Hindi ba?"
"Oh please Julian, don't start again."
Natawa si Julian.
"I don't need an answer. I knew it already."
Tumaas naman ang kilay nya sa sinabi nito. Julian sat beside her.

"So, let's start a conversation..." he said.
"What about?"
"Anything that concerns me and you."
"I don't want to share my life."
"Well..I'm gonna ask you questions then, you'll answer. Is that fine?"
She shrugged her shoulders.

"Are you sick and tired of guys now?"
"OO."
Natawa ulit si Julian.

"Sige..let me rephrase that.Are you sick and tired of bad guys?"
" Malamang."
"Well, what can I say? I'm being honest with you. I'm not a good guy and I'm not a bad guy either. What you see is what you get."
"So what?"
"I'm saying that I do like you a lot. And I want you to be my girl. I'm so bold in telling you that. I always say what I feel."
" Ayoko nang pumasok sa panibagong relationship that could hurt me."
"But...let's give it a try."
"Julian..pwede ba..."
"Please KahLil..."

"It depends." she said.
"Depends on what?"
"Depende sa diskarte mo." simpleng sagot nya.
But sapat na yun para mapangiti ng todo si Julian.
"Wow...thanks a lot sweetheart."
He held her hand. Hindi naman nya binawi yun. Maybe she'll give him a chance to prove his feelings for her.

The Super Kilig Courting Stage

MABILIS na lumipas ang mga araw. Palaging nagkikita sina Julian at Kahlil sa school. Actually si Julian ang laging gumagawa ng paraan para magkita sila. Kadalasan, inaaya siya nitong kumain sa tambayan ng mga ito but she refused to. Alam naman kasi niyang ang mga ka-frat ni Julian ang laging nakatambay don. Kaya tuloy sa labas na lang sila madalas kumain nito. Mas lalo talaga nyang nakikilala si Julian everyday. Julian is outspoken in a right manner. He has a sense of humor at hindi boring kausap katulad ng iba jan. He could make her laugh. Pero everytime they're together, he is always seducing her. Hay naku...siympre she always resists him. Alam naman kasi nya ang pwedeng mangyari kapag pinayagan niya ang ginagawa nito. She's too young for that. She believes that marriage first before sex.
Julian is a real charmer. He's also thoughtful and caring. At palagi na tuloy niyang naiisip si Julian ngayon...Haay...everyday na nga syang nageexpect na makita ito...haaay...
He'll greet her good morning and invite her to lunch. JUst thinking about it made her smile.
Katulad na lamang nung araw na yun, ipapark pa lang nya ang car sa parking nang makita nyang nakasandal si Julian sa car nito. Obviously, he's waiting for her. That's a familiar sight everyday. Ipinarada nya ang kotse sa tabi mismo ng kotse nito.
THere's a fixed smile already on her lips nung bumaba sya.

"Hi."

"Morning sweetheart." he kissed her on her cheek, near her lips actually.
She was not surprised at all. He put his hand on her waist and they walked together.
"Hey, how was your night? Did you dream about me?" Julian asked.

"Sige, mag-ilusyon ka."
Natawa lang si Julian.

"I missed you." masuyo nitong sabi sa kanya.
She was really touched. Pero siyempre medyo pakipot muna...
"Araw-araw kaya tayong nagkikita."
"Pero namiss talaga kita."
"Ay, ewan."

"Ano, tayo na?" diretsong tanong ni Julian.
"Huh, masaya ka!"
Everyday nyang naririnig ang tanong na yun.

"Yeah,yeah. Inip na inip na ako."
"You'll know my answer someday."
"kelan pa yun? pag katapusan na ng mundo?"
"Be patient Julian."
"Patient? You are killin' me."
Natawa siya sa kadramahan nito.

"By the way, kain tayo maya.Treat ko." si Julian.
"San?"
"Anywhere."
"Ok."
"Tawagan kita sa phone maya. Sagutin mo."

They parted ways. Magkikita naman ulit sila mamaya.

LUNCH BREAK

Nagpunta na sa may parking si Kahlil dahil dun ang usapan nila ni Julian na magkikita. She easily saw him. Ang kotse na lang ni Julian ang ginamit nila. They went to Yellow Cab and ate some classic pizza. While eating of course, they started a conversation.

"Is being a frat leader a burden to you?" she asked Julian.
Natigil si Julian sa pagkagat sa pizza.
"It's actually a blessing for me."
"Talaga lang ha?"
"Yeah. Masaya sa frat. We treat each other as brothers. We're like a family already."
"Ahh..." may gusto pa sana syang itanong kaya lang nakahiyaan nya. Pero napansin ata ni Julian yun.
"You want to ask something right? C'mon, tell me."

"Di ka m-magagalit?"
"Ako, magagalit sa yo? Never."

"E kasi, I heard rumors that you are...err..ah..using drugs particularly marijuana...and that you are also a chain smoker..." nahihiya nyang sabi.
Sa pagtataka nya, biglang natawa si Julian.

"Ano? Naniniwala ka sa mga ganong tsismis..mukha ba akong adik ha?Tingnan mo nga ako."

She looked at him. Etong taong to mukhang adik??? Never!!Ubod kaya ng gwapo ang taong kaharap nya ngayon!

Napansin nyang titig na titig naman sa kanya ang Julian na to. Medyo nailang sya.
"Ano ba talaga ang totoo?"

"I'm not into drugs and I'm not a smoker either. I've never smoke in my entire life."

"Pero bakit kumakalat ang issue na yun tapos you're not doing anything to stop it."

"I don't care. I don't know them. Wla akong pakialam sa sasabihin ng iba just as long na naniniwala sa kin ung mga taong mahalaga sa kin...particularly yung kaharap ko ngayon."

She gulped. Ay grabe sa banat etong si Julian...natatangay na ata sya...
Hindi agad sya nakasagot.

"Ano, natameme ka na jan." si Julian.
"W-wala lang."
Natawa na namn ito.

"Alam mo bang ang ganda mo ngayon..." sabi pa nito.

GRABEH! To the max naman ang pamumula nya.
Si Julian talaga!!!!

"Wag mo na nga akong bolahin..."
"Hindi bola yun. Hindi ako magaling mambola."

"Yeah, right." kunwari kaswal lang ung pagkakasabi nya nun pero deep inside super kinikilig na talaga sya...DEFINE kilig talaga...as in...
Nagkwentuhan pa sila ni Julian ng kung anu-ano lang. Then, after an hour, nag-aya na rin si Julian na umalis.
