weird ba kapag walang bestfriend?

they dubbed me as ms friendship because obviously, i have tons of friends...
but there's a missing piece here... i don't have a bestfriend. and im kinda 'naiingit' with girls who have bestfriends...

when im in HS, i have a cousin... we always hang together, we share the same interests.. i always helped her in her homeworks and projects... basta we're super friends... then nagising na lang ako na magbestfriend kami...

then after a while... few weeks? ahm.. i dont know... im surprised na may ibang bff na sha... i felt betrayed, im so stupid. i even make an fs account for us

so aun.. i learned my lessons wag masyado mag assume about that ''bestfriend'' thing.
i have a circle of friends. "barkada" we are super duper close with each other.. but i can't call them as my bestfriends.

there's nothing wrong naman kung may iba palang bestfriend yung bestfriend mo, atleast ikaw you're treating her like one..

there's nothing wrong with you at wag kang matakot na isang tao or more than one na tawagin na bestfriend.. kasi siya agad yung taong maiisip mong lapitan pag may problema ka..

you have a barkada, do you consider them as your bestfriends?

well there's nothing wrong with you if you don't have a best friend. it's probably because you haven't found the person. okay, i guess you can say finding a bestfriend is the same thing as finding "mr. right" like do you get where i'm coming from? just wait and when the right time comes you will meet your bestfriend but for now, i suggest you should just have fun and love your barkada and friends you never know maybe one of them will become your bestfriend.

First of all, it's okay to consider someone as your bestfriend even if that someone doesn't consider you as one. (as long as you're friends) Think of it as the closest among all friends.

Second, when was this (giving the title "bestfriend") such a big deal?

yun nga, siguro you're just protecting yourself kung sakaling maulit yun..
ang pinakasafe siguro eh wag ka magassume,so you wont easily get hurt..
tignan mo yung signs if she/he is also regarding you as her bestfriend and take it from there.
tell the person that you feel comfortable around her and that you consider her your closest friend and see how she reacts from that.. that way, you'll know what to expect.

ako rin naman madaming mga kaibigan pero wala akong BFFs.
wag ka magalala! one way or another, makakahanap ka rin ng best friend.

I've got 2. Though I have barkadas in hs and college, these two are the very top one. It's just that I always feels safe when I know I will always have someone to rely on. It's not entirely weird not having one, but I couldn't imagine not having them. Just so, time isn't important, you can always have a new best friend. It depends on how you define a bestfriend, but who is the very first person you think of when you are in your deepest sh*t? It could be your mom, she was my best friend even till the end... but obviously the only permanent thing is change.

For one, not because you don't want to consider a single person a best friend means that something is wrong with you. Besides, a best friend is the best among the friends that you have- the first one you think about telling about the best and the worst day/events of your life. It could be your boyfriend, your classmate, your sister and even your mom. It is not someone you name "best friend" but the someone who acts like one. And as they had posted, it does not necessarily mean that they have to consider you as one as well.
