Mahirap ba yung college entrance exam?

Ahh I see. Wow ang bilis naman nila maglabas ng sched. Ang dami mo yatang balak i-try? Dapat mag e-exam rin ako sa Benilde nung December kaya lang I was already tired of all the hassles of passing forms and taking tests. Lol. What if you pass the big 4? Which would you choose?

Ayy, yes that's me. And apparently it wasn't so good cause I went through lots of drama before I settled with UP. Lol. Hmm, course.. BA Psychology. And I don't like that so I'm shifting to journ next year. Haha. Pero sa Ateneo I chose Interdisciplinary studies. DLSU - Adv Mngmt. UST - Journ.

Heyy you like writing? Creative writing is a nice course. I actually thought of choosing that.

Haha. Para maraming choices. Ayoko na kasing mangyari ulit sa akin nung grade 6. 1 school lang kasi 'yong kinuhanan ko ng exam. I passed but I realized that I don't like to spend 2 more years of high school there so I ended up transferring to another school.

UP, of course. Sabi nga nila UP is UP. Sa Big 4 ka lang po ba kumuha ng exams?

Why did you not choose Creative Writing? Mas gusto ko pa rin Mass Comm kaso quota course ang Mass Comm, di ba? Pag nagustuhan ko naman CW/MP baka di na rin ako mag-shift.

I did the same thing sa UPCAT and ACET (i did not take DLSU-CET e).. unfortunately di ko naipasa UPCAT. hehe

Really ? Aww sayang. Oh well, baka hindi para sa atin UP. Haha ako pumasa... pero di ko naisipang pumasok kasi wala talaga sa plano ko pumasok sa UP. Then I found out meron pala sila nung course na gusto ko. Too late for realizations


Nung nag-summer review school ako, tinuruan kami ng tutors namin ng trick para makapasok. lol Like sinabi nila samin yung quota GPA na required for each UP school. Kung di ka daw masyadong confident, huwag ka daw makikipagsapalaran sa mga bigating courses sa bigating UP campuses, like Diliman or Manila. Tiis ka lang daw ng 1 year sa ibang campus then transfer ka sa campus na talagang gusto mo. Effective naman siya kasi ganon ginawa nung iba kong friends.

I took exams in dlsu, feu, up and ust.. and dun ako sobrang nahirapan sa dlsu-cet. time pressure plus ang hahaba ng mga questions.. problem ko pa naman is mabagal ako magsagot so yun hindi ko natapos yung exam!  i failed.

Oh yeah! "UP is UP......... until you see Ateneo." Haha! Really! That's just me though. I really wanted UP but when I saw Ateneo, got the application form, read the Ateneo Way magazine inside the application form, got the acceptance letter, etc etc, naging.... "wait, what's UP again?" Haha! Promise talaga.

But if you pass UP and choose it, then we'll be schoolmates! YAYYY. I'm probably taking up Journ already by then.

I didn't choose creative writing kasi I was too scared. LOL. Same with journ. I was too scared of the people I'm going to be with, kasi they're probably experienced editors-in-chief of their schoolpapers already, been to press conferences, they probably write for local newspapers perhaps, yadda yadda. I was intimidated even though I wasn't even there yet. Ewan. But I'm regretting it now. But it's not too late pa naman so it's okay.

uhh .. bali po yung brother ko ay nagp-plan na magtake ng UPCAT for the schoolyear 2012-2013 .. may advantage ba po ang pag review sa review center ? or okay lang rin na review na lang sa mga lessons na napagaralan na ?

This, my friends, actually depends on what school are you planning to apply for.

For an instance, there are some schools that do not really consider much of the exam's result because they rely to your high school grades. However, most of the time, schools take the exam AND the high school grades as their basis.

Review centers are not much of a help, especially if you don't really pay much attention to your proctors. Hehehe. But seriously, it would be better if you'd just revisit your old notes (sciences and math are ALWAYS important) and review some basics. Also, don't forget to pray before the exam. HEHE.
