Mahirap ba yung college entrance exam?

may form sa ust na nilalagyan ng grade, meron ding hindi. depende na lang un sa makukuha mo.

sa ateneo at dlsu, kailangan ata ng grades e. tapos may recommendation forms pa. 

sa ust titignan pa ba nila ang 1st-3rd year grades? how about sa ateneo? eh sa dlsu? ask lng po

dati sa batch namin tinitingnan pa yung grades pero yung bagong form yung ginamit ng mga applicants para sa sy 2009-2010 tinanggal na nila kaya medyo swerte yung di masyado magaganda ang grade nung hs pero pangit din para dun sa matataas ang grade nung hs

pero pag sa interview sure na titingnan yun kaso baka yung pang 4th yr lang kasi card lang naman ang usually na pinapadala

honestly sa tingin ko hindi naman ganun kahirap..pero di ko pa rin mageneralize lahat ng college entrance exams kasi upcat at ustet lang ang tinake ko..sa tingin ko masyado lang kinakabahan yung mga students pag nagtatake ng exams kaya medyo tagilid yung mga results..

tapos na ko sa mga college entrance exams kaya medyo less hassle na..pero think positive na lang..don't forget to pray before the exams..kaya naman na self-study na lang e..good luck sa mga kukuha ng mga entrance exams!!!

actually last year nung ako, hindi ako nag-aral kasi tamad ako super, pero naka-pass din naman ako sa school na gusto ko pero syempre during those times, hindi ako confident so mas maganda pa rin yung nag-aaral! 
uhm, start ka muna by going back to the basic rules in math, physics, chem and grammar just to refresh your mind saka para may strong foundation...then saka ka mag-aral ng mga specific topics...basta, eto mga importante:

1. study logarithms!!! (i remember encountering a lot of logarithmic questions sa mga exams and that time ive no clue kaya super kaba!!)
2. don't bother memorizing complex vocabulary words, pero pag-aralan mo yung parang ganito - "uni" meaning as one (wala na akong maisip na examples  )
3. know the definition of the terms like "feminism" "sexism" "parliament" and the like kasi possible na lumabas sa mga essay ng dlsu and admu yan
4. after doing your essay, it's important that you check your grammar and spelling (given that you still have a minute to spare)

Based from my bitter experience I took almost everything. But sad to say i didn't pased everything. A simple tip, chose a quota & a non quota course when applying. That's the one thing i really regret Hahaha bitter talaga eh no.

- Naaa. You shouldn't be I know you'll going to enjoy it. Entrace exams schedules are not out yet. UPCAT: pinakaunang naglalabas ng schedules. I think August sila? Then ACET is 3rd week of Sept? I dunno. Nagbabago rin kasi ang mga scheds ng universities.

UPCAT: August 1 and 2. Nakalagay na sa application form.
DLSU-CET: October 4, 11, and 18. Nakita ko sa site. :>

i took almost everything halos lahat ata ng forms na binigay ng guidance center namin kumuha ako at nag exam,

UPCAT-hard because of the right minus wrong policy nga ^^
ACET-super time pressure, as in nun gnasa bandang huli na akong ng exam dun pa ako nagmadali nanghinayang ako kasi nagtagal ako sa english part. Then may essay rin natapat sa amin yung about sa mga modern day heroes ata
DLSUCET-very surprising kasi eto ang pinakamahirap nung year namin lalo na yung english part halos lahat ng nasa choices pwede mag fit in, so you should really analyze everything, yung math part, ayun halos wala akong naisagot, kasi halos yung iba dun di pa namin napag aralan, plus two essays nga isang english and filipino dapat updated kayo sa mga news, so better watch tv lalo na about politics, yung filipino essay kasi na natapat sa akin about lang sa sarili namin tapos yung english about sa MILF.
USTET-easy siya, pero if you really want na pumasok ng nursing, medtech,pharma and other courses under college of science you should have high scores
MAPUA-easy lang siya lalo na talaga if you are really good in math ^^ simple logarithms and algebra lang ^^
MIRIAM-okay naman siya easy to pass, may essays din nakakatuwa sagutan yung mga essays
ASSUMPTION-easy rin pero dapat marami kang alam about sa mga vocabulary words ^^

Tip: Sanayin niyo mag time pag nasasagot kayo pag nag practice exam or simulation exams kayo sa school, nakakatulong rin yun mga review centers kasi na refresh nila yung mga first year topics up to third year, tapos may advance lesson pa ng 4th year. Before you answer analyze it, at pag tapos na kayo sa kunwari first part ng exam ng maaga, be sure to double check your answers kung may spare time pa ^^, and PRAYERS ayun before taking the exam
