Well, I think it is.

Hindi ako makapag-System Restore, install or uninstall at times, and my hindi ma-detect yung mga USB drives ko unless mag-disk check ako (which is available every restart).
 
Could not allocate the required space in a registry log pa nga ang sinasabi pag gusto ko mag-System Restore.

kisty if thats the error message it is not mainly an error sa registry kay..

and tell me the error messages pag mag install ka or mag uninstall ng programs...

un system restore naman ... ehh maraming bug yun we dont trust system restore...

and also have you ckecked for malicious files// meaning scanned your computer with a reliable antivirus? rawr,.,.,.

hahahaha mainly as i have said hindi registry sira ng pc mo po ... 

tell me the details how your computer messed up hehehe para alam ko rawr

Sigh. I don't want to sound rude but I know my PC a lot better than you are and I just want a simple yes or no answer to my original and only question.

Is it okay to reformat a computer if the registry is corrupted?

yeap i do agree on that you know your pc a lot better than i have.. but i surely know more knowledge about computers than you have.. or else i wont be posting this thread.. anyways yes you may reformat your computer as you wish .. if you knew your computer you'd also know that if you reformat your computer evrything will go back from the start including any corrupted registry and all,,, back to were it started.. un lang though reformating and defragmenting shortens the lifespan of hard drives.. so i put reformatin g as my last resolution though i never reformat.. rawr...

i was just trying to give you the best troubleshooting and resolution but looks like yoo have insufficient patience ^^

Sorry about that. I'm and IT student and reformatting wasn't my option either however with constant check up of what the errors I've been experiencing.. It's seems it's the only option, and the fastest one, too! This computer which has the problem is needed in most of my offline/online and school life, so I need to fix it fast.

id rather have you reghost than reformat... kaso baka di pa naintroduce sa inyo un symantec ghost... if naintroduce na un na lang gamitin mo... not only that reformating takes so much time to do.. reghosting would like take 10 to 15 mins and evrything on your pc including all your softwares be installed...

yung pc mo you can fix that with hyjackthis software .. the virus seems to have change some settings and policies to your computer the hyjackthis software is a tool to view the settings that has been changed from default by windows so registries/ policies/ devices evrything will be logged and you can fix it manually... once you see the errors..

yan well other options lang yan... ^^ .. auko lang talaga ng me nag rereformat hehehe

kasi parang for me lang ha " nawalan na ko ng pag asa kaya reformat na lang " w/c leads to zero knowledge added...and minus lifespan to my hard drives hehehe

just an ideal though ^^.. more power to you and goodluck to your career ^^

ssorry mali type anu po pag install mo ng avast di ba me prompt na reboot mo ung pc then after booting up your pc magScan ng kusa ung avast di ba.. *note un bang wala ka pa sa desktop mo un boot sequence pa lang nag scan na un avast*

yup, pero i think dinecline ko yun coz i installed it pero nde safe mode. Saka ko nalang siya scinan nung safe mode na, uggh *reply sa note: avast can scan while nagbboot? all i did was safe mode, then scan period.

pag tinadyakan mo cpu mo kasi nainis ka...

2nd eh virus or malwares

3rd settings

4rth is overuse without airconditioning

5th is the memory modules

6th eh voltage power or overclocked
