Do you have an idea why this computer restarts when I sync my iPod? When it STARTS syncing, that's it. Restart. That's the only time this PC restarts on its own. Thanks.

ahhh its bec either your ipod has a virus or your ipod isnt compatible with your operating system...

.docx? with an "x" its ..... i think its .doc... without x... so it would open in the ms word..

well if it still wont open try reinstalling the ms office ok... and if still the problem persist it means the file that your opening is corrupted

she means .docx, not .doc; .docx being the proposed 'global' standard for word documents since the original binary microsoft office files were a hassle for other open source office suites to implement support for. that's why sometimes opening a word document written in microsoft office word with an open source word processing program will either have all the formatting all jumbled up or not even open at all.

open the .docx file with a web browser like internet explorer or firefox. sure, it's uneditable, but at least you'll have access to it. microsoft really hasnt started fully supporting it as of yet, but they will soon.

if you have a version of office that's older than, i would guess office 2008.

I have synced it before many times and it works fine, and I scanned my iPod with another computer (with iTunes too) and there aren't any viruses.

Try to sync your iPod with another computer. If it still restarts, then the problem would be on your iPod.

Possible reasons why your PC restarts:
- the driver is not compatible or not functioning properly
- check if you're running at least Windows SP 2

No... 'Pag nag-restart parang wala lang. Feeling ko 'yung nakabold 'yung reason...




I edited this kasi I have a new problem. Waah. Don't tell me kailangan ulit i-reformat nito... Waaaaah. Ang dami kong files dito...

Anyway, kagabi lang ata nangyari 'to (or pwedeng dati pa kaya lang ngayon lang napansin kasi 'di masyado nagagamit dati...) and natatakot ako baka may major problem na 'tong pc... Kapag nagsa-sign in ako sa YM, namamatay 'yung YM. I mean nagko-close 'yung window. I reinstalled it na, ayaw pa rin up to now. What could be the problem? Kasi 'pag tinanong namin dun sa pinagpaayusan namin ng pc dati, for sure virus na naman reason niya. I scanned this pc naman, wala naman. So ano nangyayari?

Here's my problem(this is an excerpt from my toot*):

1. Ni-unistall ko ang Photoshop CS ko but hindi ko alam na kasama sa matatanggal ang ImageReady. Kaya ayon, wala na akong magamit para sa animation. Hindi lang iyon. Habang nag-uninstall may nag-pop up na dialog box. "Do you want to remove blah blah." I forgot na kung ano 'yon. Basta plug in daw. I clicked the yes button. Successfully uninstalled naman ang Photoshop CS and ImageReady but...

2. Muli kong tiningnan ang folder ng CS3 kasama ang kanyang mga presets. Laking gulat ko ng nagiba ang itsura ng mga icons ng mga files tulad ng brushes at patterns. 'Yong tipong hindi mabasa ng computer kung anong klase siya ng file. Before ko i-uninstall ang Photoshop CS hindi naman ganoon 'yon. Lumalabas pa nga 'yong icon na nagpapatunay na ang file na iyon ay compatible sa computer na ito. pero ngayon iba na eh. Hala! Lagot ako! Anong gagawin ko? Help please...

Did you only use an antivirus to scan your computer? Try scanning it with anti-spyware or anti-adware. It might help. Does it pop any message when your YM window closes?

The reason why your brushes and patterns icons changed was because you uninstalled Photoshop. If the Photoshop is still there, the brushes/patterns is automatically read by Photoshop but since it's gone no other program can associate with your brushes/patterns I guess unless you install another image editing software. So I suggest you install Photoshop again or install another image editing software to associate the brushes/patterns.

Nope nandoon pa rin po ang CS3. Ang naka uninstall lang, CS. Ibig mo pong sabihin install ko ulit CS?

The CS3 folder might still be there but the Photoshop application is no longer there since you installed it. Did you completely uninstall Photoshop?

Nope. Nawawala na lang bigla. Parang ni-click 'yung close.
