Yup, our class president is not here.
As for your grade, we can do something about it. Gaaahhhh.. we are really having a hard time. Hahaha. We are planning to post the honor roll kasi. But if that would be an issue, we may just pursue the monthly or weekly quizzes to compute your stats instead of depending on your grades.

But as a partial requirement we still need the grades. That's what we have agreed upon e.
Magmimeeting pa kami kasi may mga college level eh saka iba iba grading system. Ahehehe.

Dearest Intelligentalkers,

   Yes, I have set qualifications as I start the thread - grades, awards and the like - that is to ensure that clique title will reflect the clan members. FIRST IMPRESSION. But high grades will never justify a person's intellect. It's not enough.

   In connection to this, we'll have an activity entitled 'Be Our Whiz'
Each intelligentalker will invite a non-member to be our guest for the week. Since Raven Knives is already here, we could have him as the first one. But of course, for formality sake, I'll send him the invitation letter. PM. Intelligentalkers are free to ask questions to the said guest - questions under the sun! Intelligentalkers are sensible anyway. Hotseat Q's should be entertained! Hahaha.The guest in turn should learn something from us. At the end of the week, let's see how significant each one of us had been to the guest. His/her feedback will be posted before a new guest jumps in.

P.S.

   This will be effective next week. For the meantime, let us focus on getting to know each other and electing our class officers.

What do people say about you being intelligent?: there is a negative and positive part of what people say.. negativething is,yeah being intelligent is good.. but most people take advantage of you.. they always rely on you on almost everything.. and another thing, pressure is so difficult.. all think i am intelligent and they think i can do everything.. they have so high expectations from me.. but the positive thing, most people think i am intelligent.. and everything they give i can do it.. they praise and give compliments.. classmates always expect me for something.. sometimes.. and my dean thinks that i can do any job and she believes i can teach well in college classes.. and i did i.. i survived.. that's it i think..

First TIDBIT to share: Did you know that one thing a person can do to stimulate their mind is play computer games which needs logical thinking.. and sometimes crossword puzzles.. i'm not sure if it is true for everyone.. but for me and some of my friends, we play first, or do sudoku or crossword puzzles before reviewing for the exams..

Additional FYI you may call me Val or ate val if i'm older.. i'm 22 years old.. currently teaching at the University of the Cordilleras.. i taught algebra, calculus, intro to computers, programming, IT presentation skills.. as of now, i'm on a study leave.. after finishing my masters, that's when i'll again return to teach in the academe..

Yeah, I understand the pressure thingy. AS in walang katapusan yung expectations. OMG. Parang nakakaiyak na masaya na di mo maintindihan.

Ah, medyo nakakastimulate nga ng utak yun. Gawain ko din un. Lam mo yung yellow na parang puzzle na binubuo, brain twister ata tawag dun. Basta cute toy from my sis. Pag naiinip ako at di gumagana utak ko, yun pinapaglaruan ko. Saka parang may nabasa ako sa mag na humiga ka at pumikit  mas maganda parang inverted ka - ung lower level ang ulo mo, makakapag-isip ng mabuti. Pero naku,pag ginawa ko yun, TULOG aabutin ko.

@ liz - grabe talaga ang expectations.. gusto nila tulad ka ng iba, lalo pag may relative ka.. haaaay.. at least nakatapos na din.. yeah, maganda din yung brain twister.. minsan kahit sa panaginip nakikita ko yun.. hehe.. and yung inverted ulo mo? wala naman effect. hehe.. matutulog ka lang at tatamarin na.. hehe..
