Card from who? I looked at the back of the card that said You’re so Beautiful and saw a name.

“Aw. You’re such a lovely little girl. Thank you for the card.” Vanessa tugged her hair at the back of her ear and smiled.

“Welcome miss Ysabel. You are lovely too.” I smiled with what she said then stood. “Okay kids, time to go home. See you tomorrow.”

“Yes miss.” They said in unison as they prepared their bags. When they were all gone, I picked my bag and decided to go home as well.

“Oreo cheesecake.” I handed a twenty dollar bill to the cashier as he smiled at me. “Uh, where is Ryan?”

“He is out today, said he didn’t want to work.” I nodded and smiled. Ryan was a dear friend to me. He was my room mate in my last years in college and he was my crush. Oh yeah, the crush of a twenty five year old teacher. “May I know why you ask?”

“I was just wondering.” He gave me my order and I went out the shop with almost a frown on my face.  I didn’t even get a glance of Ryan. Psh. Not one of my days.

“Hey, hey!” A guy shouted. “Hey Ysabel!”

“Oh hey Ryan!” Maybe not one of my days but one of the lucky days eh? “Hi! What’s up? You were not in the coffee shop.”

“Aw, yeah. I needed to represent the company in a meeting. Anyway, I want to give you this.” He gave me a red glittery paper bag.

“Thank you. I knew you'd give me something lik—”

“It’s the dress you wore when you slept in my apartment the other night. You kinda left it.” My facial expression changed, for sure. “Anything wrong?”

I bit my lip. “No—no, NO. I’m good. Thanks. I gotta run, my brother is waiting.” I walked towards the parking lot frowning. “Wake up Ysabel. He’s so not into you. Psh. Stupid dress. Why did I leave it in his apartment anyway?”

“Talking to your insane self again huh?”

“Yes I am crazy.” I kissed him in the cheek. “Let’s go little brother.”

He ruffled my hair as we made our way out. “Can’t you be a little bit nicer, Ysa? I went all the way from who-knows-where, cancelled my date with my girlfriend just to give you a ride and that’s me? Just your little brother?”

“Don’t worry. I love you, my little brother.” I said sweetly then went inside the car.

“I pity myself. You probably have told that to hundreds of men, you know. You just change the name.”

“I wish.” He glanced at me. “I never said that to anybody but you, dad and my kids.”

“Kids, you mean your—”

“Yes, my students.” I cleared.

“Anyway, who’s the guy you were talking to? He looks familiar.”

“Ryan. My room mate in college.” I remembered what happened earlier and felt sad. “He’s the manager of the coffee shop and his family owns the company.”

“You know pretty well about him. Your crush?” I gave him the look. “What? Don’t tell me you don’t know what crush means.”

“Of course I do know what it means.” I pointed out. “But he isn’t my crush.” Jason didn’t respond but just looked at me. “What?”

We stopped in the red light. “I’m waiting for a more convincing answer.” He grinned. “I know you more than you know yourself bigger sis.”

“Okay. I like him. But it’s not like it’s possible.”

I took a shower as soon as we arrived in our apartment. I went out to my room with just a robe. I peeked at my dress Ryan gave me then I remembered what I said… “I like him. But it’s not like it’s possible.”

Psh. I felt like a hopeless romantic. “If he’ll just ask me out, I’d tell him what I really feel.” I laughed. “How I wish there’d be an angel who will talk to him… Psh.”

*DING DONG*
*DING DONG*
*DING DONG*

“Ysabel! Open the door!”

I rushed to the door still holding the paper bag. “Wait!” I was shocked when I saw a cute little girl standing outside with a suitcase.

“I’m lost; can you help me find bada?” A tear fell in her cheek.

 “Let’s call the police then.” She gestured a no. “What then?” She hit the paper bag down letting the dress fall from the paper bag. “HEY! Why did you do that?”

I knelt and picked the dress but a paper caught my attention.

“Let’s go out Ysabel. I’ll wait tomorrow at 7 PM in the coffee shop.  –Ryan”

“Oh-my-gosh. He asked me out.” I grinned and glanced back at the little girl. “What’s your name again?”

“I’m angel.” Coincidental?

“Hey who’s that?” Jason came in shorts while wiping his hair with towel.

I smiled widely. “She’s my angel.”

Hello again. haha. Ana here, still 15. I just don't know why my profile says I'm sixteen. This will be my second success if I finish this. My first story is MFP, just click on my siggy. Oh there. I hope you guys will leave a comment. Thanks a lot.
